Very good communication from their end -- the process is clear and they seem very professional and knowledgeable.

Kish should have written a book for the benefit of new inventors, since he didn't do it(i think), it is only 4 stars. I will change to 5 stars as soon as it is done.

Kish is wonderful...and the entire staff from the front of the house to the back. If my finances weren't in disarray I would have gone through with the process. I was very disappointed that I was not able to do business with them. I'm not giving up though. Praying for a breakthrough so I can contact Kish again and will be honored and appreciative if he still wants to do business with me.

Incredibly unfortunate that my wife took time out of her day to be disrespected and treated like she was unreasonable and unable to work with. For Kish Kuehnert to refuse to continue to even have a full conversation about the process "until she goes back home and speaks to her husband" just floors me.

I'll be clear here - My wife needs NOBODY'S permission to embark on her own solo endeavors, and being married absolutely does NOT make her beholden to me before making decisions, no matter the scale. She should NEVER be told that her ideas are only worth it if her husband agrees to it, nor should any woman.

Amazes me that today, still, people choose to make assumptions and hold viewpoints like this when there's absolutely no reason aside from chauvinism and bigotry. It's more than the fact that you chose to treat her with such disrespect and act with consistent microaggressions. It's aside from you deciding that "your company no longer wishes to do business with her" when she challenged you saying you wouldn't even continue talking to her until she asked my permission.

It's that my wife is smart, capable, and her own human being - and you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to force her into thinking otherwise. Shame on you. Your stakeholders at Lonestar Patent Services should think about how much leash they give you to run without oversight in the future. If you have nobody you're accountable to, I hope I surfaced something you could identify and work on that could maybe help your business too.

The representatives at Lonestar Patent Services were very polite with exceptional customer service skills, they made me feel real at home and they cared about my ideas.

We received great service and lots of great information for setting up our patent and working towards a good business plan. The process is much easier with their help.

The Staff at Lonestar Patent Services were very courteous and helpful. They helped me navigate the patient process with ease and confidence. They asked many questions about my idea which further increased my belief and solidify my idea that it is something worth exploring in more detail. And lastly I felt confident that they would keep the idea private via a none disclosure agreement.

If you want something done the correct and effective way. This is the place to go to. Would advise anyone. The people were very nice and had a way of explaining everything that was simple and easy to understand.

I felt they were thorough in explaining the process and steps of how to see if your idea is patentable. I also felt they were honest and upfront about steps/ timing and cost.

I went in there years ago, they walked me and my business partner through the whole process. In the end it turned out our invention was patented and they couldn't help, the guy we spoke to was devastated. I still feel bad about it, even embarrassed, so I ended up going to another firm for my next invention. I have one patent, about to apply for another... and I remember how awesome these guys were, read some of their reviews. I am excited to speak with them again.... especially after reading their responses to peoples negative reviews, stand your ground guys!

Not sure why Google is asking me to rate this company, but I'm glad I paid attention to the reviews. I've only just begun my search for a patent attorney myself, but I'm seeing some unbelievable responses from the company's representatives in response to negative reviews on here. I hope those are hijacked by a disgruntled ex employee or something, I'm sure the company would never be crazy enough to let someone represent their business that way (if this gets another unbalanced and overly emotional response, I guess I'll have my answer). To be safe, I'm going with another patent attorney. Reviews matter guys, like I said, glad I paid attention.

She gave me her honest opinion and great insight; direction. I really appreciate it. I felt they really have a passion to help. Felt genuine. I would recommend.

I went to them with my idea they told me it was a great idea and not patented yet. After I paid over $10k+. They changed my original idea up to a totally different idea, even tried to convince me that was the best way. They provided me with a "drawing" of the idea but not an actual functioning product which I could have done with map pencils and sketch pad for $10. I had a Manufacturer intrested in making my product but he told me it would not work as is and I would have to change it to the patented product in order for it to work which would also not work because it is already patented. After talking with Lonestar about it, they informed me that a functional product sketch would have been an additional $5k+. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to waste $10k+ or so.

I felt that she was honest and asked me the right Question And even though I wasn't able to answer ever question with 100% certainty She was still able to duplicate my product and its purpose.

Wasn't unimpressed but also wasn't highly impressed. Sat down with one of their people to talk. They kept wanting to know EVERY detail about my idea before they would tell me the cost. I didn't feel comfortable doing that because I didn't know I could afford it. Turned out their average cost is $10K to $16k. They want that in cash basically so no financing. Glad I didn't tell them everything because I can't come up with that king of $$$. They seem like good people. First impression though reminded me of that Inventors help folks you see on TV.

If getting yeld at, insulted, cursed at and hung up on is what you are looking for then by all means. I was shocked how I was treated when I asked questions about marketing support for my invention. LSP wanted our buisness but the moment I shopped around (like they asked us to so that we can compare) the rep became very standoffish. I was shocked by there lack of professionalism. They will say they refused to work with me but I have offer contract to prove otherwise. They are cocky and think they are the only game in town and they are not. Do your self a favor go somewhere else.
