Awful! I used this law firm who runs Texas Title to close one of my houses. The process was awful. Still is...my mortgage has not been paid till now an whole month after close of escrow!
The person in Charge would not respond to several of my emails. And when finally confronted, said she had. When I asked her to resend them, she couldn't because she never did reply in the first place - She was lying. I was an absentee seller in another state, and did not get a prep call or closing instructions till the evening before the closing day. This delayed the closing process several days. It's been almost one month since that 'closing' day and still the first on my house of almost $100,000 has not been paid by this company! Every time I talk to them, the escrow officer says they've talked to my bank and my bank says they will credit it that same day. this has been going on for a whole month!!
But when I call my bank who holds my mortgage, they say they're no notes on the account and have not talked any one. To make things worse, my bank has been calling me trying to collect monthly payments. The llast time, they said I'm now two months behind and this may ruin my credit. Thanks for Karlseng Law Firm as Texas Title. I've found them Untrustworthy and inefficient.
I just got off the phone with the Escrow officer called Raelene and once again, for the umpteenth time, she has promised to take care of it. It's been about 30 days since 'close of ecrow'...I will keep you posted when they actually pay off my mortgage. In the meantime my great credit is already ruined.
I've bought and sold many houses, and never had this awful experience. Needless to say I will never use this firm or Texas Title ever again
