If there was a 1/2 star, I would’ve selected it. Mr Byrd does not return phone calls, does not review demand letters for accuracy, & files suit on cases he has no intention of taking to trial just to increase his fees. He doesn’t personally work on files, but doesn’t ask clients if it’s okay that other attorneys or staff work on your case. He is not an aggressive attorney. He simply hires experts he knows personally who are paid to say what he wants and asks you to go to doctors he knows personally to create his trial strategy. He settled my case without my permission when I disclosed my interest in leaving his firm, but apparently the FL Bar states that attorneys can act on their “belief” of what the client wants. No proof required. Do not hire this attorney if you expect aggressive or ethical representation of your case.

Mr Byrd is a hard working, diligent attorney that gets results. His skills are amazing, he meets all deadlines for court appearances and that cant be said by all. My injuries are significant and life long and Jeff made sure the insurance companies knew that. After low-ball offers from them Jeff filed a law suit. After they failed to meet their deadlines they realized they had met their match and we were able to recover what was fair. I would trade it all in for my health back, but the recovery Jeff got me will make life a little easier.
