I would not recommend or rehire this law firm again! They claim to keep an informed relationship with their clients, which is a joke. I never heard from my lawyer or case workers and I had to contact them everytime I tried to learn any new information. I even started receiving large hospital bills while they were supposedly dealing with my medical bills. I was always being told they were on top of it and waiting to hear back from the medical providers. At the end of a eleven month case, I feel this law firm is a waste of your time & patience.

I have to reach out every few months to find out what is going on with my case. It always is some generic "we're working on it" or "we're getting records" They've apparently been getting "records" for 5 months now.

I really regret choosing this firm.

Highly recommend this team of professionals. From my first intake call, to the close of the case, they were always available for questions and to provide guidance regarding the process. I can't say enough about the office manager Kevin or Mr. Kaufman. Not only were they professionals who know their field, but they are extremely personable, the kind of people you wouldn't mind hanging out with after the case is over. The best part? I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of my husband's case.
I was personally referred to this firm by one of my co-workers who is a personal friend of Mr. Lynd's. With that said I believe that the friendship is close enough that when my co-worker would ask me how was the case going.... and I would say I can not get anyone to call us back, my co-worker could text Mr. Lynd and I would receive a call from one of the legal assistants with in 20 minutes. We were told that my husband's case Bodily Injury claim settled for $10.000. & the Uninsured Motorist portion settled for $10,000. "Remember" I said "Settled" the case never went to trial.

The initial interview we were told that the 33.3% would only be taken if the case went to the trial, which it never did. My husband walked away with barley $4,000. When I looked at the breakdown I see that the firm "Kaufman and Lynd took 33.3% from each claim, One case but 2- claims for the same person, same date of accident.. (Seems like double dipping) to me so since I was unsure I made a call to the Insurance Commissioners office to get clarity. My information taken I am awaiting a call back. Let me make clear that I did not think our case would be handled with no attorney fee's because no one works for free.

I believed that being referred by a close friend of Mr. Lynd and by one of my co-workers (both of us work for a nationally known Medicare insurance firm), that this case would be handled with the upmost integrity and compassion. Knowing that word of mouth is the best advertisement I will not refer this firm to anyone I come in contact with, Nor the 100-150 or so people that I come in contact with weekly at the office.

Final note, I want to say that the "ONE "Legal Assistant that this firm should hang on to is "Skylar" who was one of three legal assistants that we dealt with during our process. She was the only legal assistant that always called us back and responded quickly with her emails.

Mr. Lynd, as well as the staff of Kaufman and Lynd, could not have been more professional or helpful in getting our case settled for the full amount requested. By impressing on the insurance company, through in depth research and documentation, the folly of continuing to fight the case, settlement was surprisingly quick. By constantly keeping us updated and validating our feelings of personal loss, we were made to feel important and as a valued client.

We would certainly reccomend this firm. We knew the process would take long, but they worked with us through the whole ordeal. They were there for us, made the bumps in the road more smooth, and put with our concerns during the usual delays. They were friendly, always unferstanding,, and let you know they cared. Spoke to Mr. Kaufman. He called me in reference to our incident. He spoke to me for about 30 mins. He said he would call me back in 20 minutes. I waited and waited and waited. I then called him back late the next day. He wasnt available so I told the person who answered he never called me back. I told them I would call back later to speak with him then my phone rang and it was a girl telling me they were sorry they didnt get back to me they were busy but they decided not to take our case because the Statue of Limitations had run out. Well I looked it up and found out we have up to 7 years due to our evidence of medical fraud which involved our Mom and Brother. The medics involved have a lawyer still representing them in our incident? We believe there is a case with all our evidence. But they believe it would be too hard. But as the saying goes "Nothing worthwhile is ever easy."
