Mr. Thornton was referred to me by someone when I began my divorce/child support case. I have to say I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect from the process. I didn't have M. Thornton as an attorney but, my mother and I did rent an apartment from him on Redington Beach.
Our air conditioning broke down on Easter Sunday (4.4.15)as of today (4.25.2015) we are still in a hotel, our air is not fixed and he is refusing to refund our prepaid rent and deposit.
He text us today, and said there was an air-conditioning man there to fix the air- that's a lie.
This man has done nothing but lie and threaten us for almost a month.
Don't lawyers take an oath to be honest? This man wouldn't know the truth if he was slapped in the face by it. He's dishonest and is stealing our money. We are from Michigan and we are stuck. Do NOT hire Michael Thornton...
