They scheduled my first appointment at THE SAME TIME as the person I was going to court against. Completely unprofessional.

Responded to our call. Was able to guide us on a family law matter.

They just need more people. You can run inside for parking money - they usually have some. Just make sure you don't get a ticket while you're gone. There is a side entrance (with stairs). Creepy basement level with all sorts of unmarked closets & the ladies' room at the furthest end. No coffee, but a water tank. If they can't serve you, they refer you to CLEAR in Seattle then CCVLP follows up with you. That actually went fine. Please consider volunteering here for office/attorney. They definitely need it. They are spread thin; the attorneys don't prep much or read your emails - it's more like drop in. Some of them aren't used to handling eviction topics, so they might say one thing then back track & change their mind, so take it all with a grain of salt until they have thoroughly read their legal references as they talk to you.

Zero return calls

I'm getting sued by vulture debt collectors over a relatively small debt. Brian did a great job helping me navigate the paperwork and so far I've avoided a default judgement. Thanks guys!

Excellent service here in Vancouver. If you show up for appt on time and are prepared with documents and such, these volunteer lawyers and staff will help you. Highly recommend this service. It's for low income persons and families who otherwise might not be able to see an attorney.

Awesome team really care about what they do. They go above and beyond.

The staff are extremely helpful in connecting you with a lawyer to answer your legal questions. They are not lawyers themselves though so don't expect to get your question answered same day as the program is designed to make an appointment with you and a lawyer. They have most of the forms you would pay $20-$55 dollars for at the court house. There open 5 days a week which is fantastic though they do sometimes take a lunch so plan accordingly. Also, if your legal problem is in regard to some paperwork bring a copy with you or email them a copy in advance and it will greatly improve the advice you recieve. Finally, the program is based on income so you should call in advance to see if you qualify. Hope you get your legal problems resolved.
