Anytime you have to hire a lawyer means life is going to be hard. Emotions will be high, lack of legal understanding, etc... but Mike is that bridge you need. He spends hours preparing for court and every possible outcome. Took the time to explain things to me not only once but sometimes multiple times since I had little to no prior experience with the legal system. Not once did I feel “dumb” for not knowing or having an answer. He fought for what I wanted to helped me get the BEST possible outcome. I thank you greatly for that! Hire Youngberg Law firm and you’ll be satisfied that someone heard you out and fought for you and your family just like you do.

Mike was a great help in my wife’s Custody case. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely wants to help. His experience in Denton county and knowledge of the court system here is a great asset. He is dedicated to his clients and will do everything in his power to best serve them.

Mr. Youngberg was amazing. Highly recommended.
He helped me navigate a difficult system (sometimes more so for us men) and come to a quick and outstanding resolution to my case. He even talked me off the ledge a couple times.
He was quick to respond to emails or phone calls (he even answers himself most of the time). Explained some of the more technical parts of the law so even a non-lawyer could understand. He told me very early on the things I should fight for and the things I would be wasting time and money fighting. I appreciated him looking out for my money instead of just lining his pockets.
Child Law is a system that in many ways is broken, it was great having someone who has worked on both sides and understands the paths of least resistance. That experience is worth exponentially more than he charges for it.
I would not hesitate using him again, even though I hope I never have to. I could not have been happier!
Mike is a caring and professional family law expert. I would recommend him to anyone.

I would like to recommend Michael Youngberg Family Law. Michael was the fourth attorney I interviewed when my ex-wife filed for divorce. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for, but after interviewing Michael, I felt he was in sync with me, he set realistic expectations, and while he came across as being realistic about things, he also didn't set pie in the sky goals. I think his initial quote about numerous items were "You can pay me to fight that, but the odds are against you" Now to clarify, when I was told this, these were things that the laws would have gone against me on. As a result, I appreciated how Michael was conservative with my money as if it was his. He also clearly stated what items associated with the divorce that he felt we had a chance with. As a result of his battle vs. war view we allowed things to play out. In the mediation room about an hour into the ten hour day he basically said "You would have been all over this if this was a settlement offer"....I agree....before mediation, the initial settlement offer was 130% of my pay in child and spousal support. That and 60% of my company that I started before marriage. Initially I was granted temporary sole conservator, then when done both kids live with me, Michael was able to get child support setup to come to me via the state system from their mother, I ended up staying in my house. I maintained all of my company, etc. We dealt with someone (ex-wife) that thought the rules could change as she wanted. As a result, Michael put together a 45 page decree that should get us to the youngest child graduating high school. I recommend Michael without hesitation....
