Is it being neutral when you repeatedly tell someone over and over and over, for HOURS, that they have NO chance at winning custody in court? Also, from your comment, it’s okay to ignore or disregard an email just because you’re “limited” on what you can discuss? So, instead of just responding with that, you think it’s respectful/professional to leave someone guessing for a week?

Eric Navarette mislead my fiancé in mediation. His ex-wife moved the the kids from Texas to Missouri. My fiancé made it very clear in mediation that if it wasn’t written in the agreement that she has to drive them to the airport that she would use that as an excuse to make us drive 40hours in a weekend to see the kids. Eric told my fiancé it wasn’t necessary to have it listed because it was part of “standard language.” Well sure enough she’s refusing to take them to the airport because it’s not written in the agreement. When my fiancé tried to contact Mr. Navarrette regarding this issue it took him about a week to respond AND he told my fiancé he couldn’t discuss this issue unless he pays to come back for arbitration. This is completely ridiculous when we already paid $900 to get screwed in mediation once. Thank you Eric for aiding in the suffrage of my family (including my 3 year old daughter). You’re a gem. **funny it took you almost a week to respond to an email but only an hour to respond to a bad review

Divorce is an emotionally stressful process and in my case the fear of the unknown made it worse. When I decided to file for divorce I wanted to hire the best attorney because I had absolutely no experience in the matter so I got online and read reviews. When I hired Ms. Bowen she worked for a highly recommended firm in Dallas with an office in Denton. During my divorce she left the firm and I continued with her because she already had all my information. I assumed that if she had been part of such a reputable firm she was probably good. Looking back, I consider this decision to have been the biggest and worst mistake I made throughout my divorce process. On the day of mediation my ex-husbands attorney made most of the decisions. I was so emotionally distraught that there were times I asked Ms. Bowen what I should do. But is it not expected for an attorney to guide and give the most beneficial advice. He’s inventory and appraisal was done a month after mine so he increased the amount owned on his credit cards. And as a result of not being advised to have my home appraised before mediation, I had to give him $10,000 more than it was worth. My name was continuously misspelled. I don’t have a common name but I was charged by the minute for any contact and time spent on paperwork so the least I expected was the correct spelling of my name. When they drafted the divorce decree and sent it to the opposing counsel she made corrections to at least half of the document. Aside from the grammatical corrections, she made it more specific regarding care of the children and of course all in favor of her client.

For the past 8 years my girls and I have been fighting what seemed like a never ending battle with my ex husband. I had lost all hope until I met Eric. Eric is by far the best attorney I have ever met, and I have met a lot. My girls will no longer have the load of stress on their shoulders, shed anymore sad tears, or fear of missing out on their activities and lives any more. Eric is not a 5 star attorney, he is a 10 + star attorney. He is patient, he explains, he answers questions, and he guides you in the best way. Divorce is not fun, fighting with your ex is not fun, but if you are dealing with this in your life, let Eric help you! Thank you so much Eric, your are the BEST!!!!!
