I went through 2 other attorneys before I found Samin and hopefully I'll never have to work with anyone else because she is FAR superior to the previous two that I worked with. She is honest and has integrity unlike so many in this field who just prey upon people that are already at their lowest. Her fees are more reasonable than most and like another reviewer said, she is great at having her paralegal do as much as possible which keeps her billable hours to a minimum. I won't lie, she is tough to get a hold of at times, but she does always get back to me within a reasonable time frame. She has been great at working with the opposing attorney (who is not an easy guy to work with!) and keeping us out of court as much as possible. The few times we had to go to court, she did a great job in presenting my side of things and getting the fairest agreement in place when my ex was trying to get as much money and custody as possible. I think part of the reason she is tough to get a hold of at times is because she is so busy and gives each client great attention when working on their case. I think she is busy because she is GOOD. I would never want to work with another attorney.

Hiring a divorce attorney to handle your divorce is a crucial decision. If you are leaving a marriage with children, assets and debts to be divided, who represents you during your divorce can determine how well you fair emotionally and financially post divorce. Nothing can derail your divorce faster than following lousy divorce advice. Believe me, I know this situation due to my own experience as I had to search for another attorney midway through my divorce case.

My case was too far in that I contemplated on wanting to finish my situation with my initial attorney. But, I felt the lack of memory on even the most basic details about my case, an overlooked filing requesting for a child support order which was forgotten about (which was 9 months of child support I couldn’t collect), a missed hearing, and even the lack of responsiveness a few days before a court hearing. It always left me going into court not knowing what was going on. It actually left me more anxious and stressed where I questioned myself, why am I not changing attorneys? Thankfully, they moved to another firm, and it gave me an opportunity to search for another attorney mid-case without it being detrimental to my case, which was a blessing in disguise despite the stress of now finding a new attorney but now TRUSTING them given I had a bad one, to begin with.

When searching for another attorney, you generally base your next move off of reviews you find, follow up with a consultation, and decide from there. Luckily, for me, I was able to see how Samin represented clients first hand while I was waiting for my case to be called up next. What I saw in the courtroom was an attorney who was professional, courteous, competent, very knowledgeable, responsible, and always one step ahead of the process and was never caught by surprise by any obstacles. It was at that moment that I knew she was what my case needed. I needed someone who would represent me the way she did for her clients that day as she was fierce and fearless when fighting for her clients. But given my hesitation due to my previous attorney, I had to make sure her reviews matched what was seen in court, all of them did say very similar things, and were highly rated, so I made the call for consultation, and the rest was history.

I consider myself a very detail oriented person, sometimes pushing the boundaries on the patience of the person providing the details. I was very relieved and pleased when I found that Samin and her staff were the same way, very communicative, and responsive. I always felt I knew the status of where things were as she kept me updated with each step of the process. I was still well informed, and if I had any questions, she would thoroughly address each concern to where I was able to understand it, which can be very complicated not to mention overwhelming. Believe me, I can ask a lot of questions because I want to be sure I understand the entirety of it but never once did I feel it was a burden to her as she has rare compassion that I find lacking amongst other family lawyers.

If I could describe Samin and her staff in a few words it would be impossible to find the right words, but it would be: no-nonsense, straight to the point, understanding, and very professional. Going through this process was definitely an eye-opener, and I wouldn't wish divorce on anyone, let alone the process. But if I could’ve changed anything, I would've started off with Samin being my representing council as it would’ve saved me my sanity on so many levels over the first 1.5 yrs.

It's difficult to put into words exactly how grateful I was to have Samin in my corner during the custody and divorce determinations in my case. Samin is so smart, and sharp in the courtroom. She also has a fantastic ability to negotiate and gets results when this skillset is required.

There were so many occassions when I had questions about what the likely outcome might be, what legal rights I could really take a stand on, and how the local judge or opposing attorney was like with certain issues. Samin gave me expert guidance on all of my questions, but was also upfront about things in a way that didn't create false hope or end in me spending a lot of time and money pursuing a lost cause.

She was responsive when there were issues outside of the courtroom and, on many occassions, gave me the advice I needed to confidently address these issues. There was always someone there to help me, even when she was on maternity leave at one point. Her associates and paralegals were so sharp. My kids are now safe because of Samin. She was able to quickly take steps to ensure that. I'm a father with almost 90 percent custody right now because of Samin. I started out with less than half. It was certainly a process, but I'm 100 percent sure that my kids and I would not be in the position we are in today without Samin's office and the expert guidance I recieved from it.

From the beginning Samin and her team made my experience extremely pleasant (even when it came to unpleasant situations). Everyone there is so understanding! Unlike other law firms, you're not passed back and forth. Samin Beringer really gave my case her 100%.

My parents hired Samin for a 25 year old Alimony Only support matter. Eight(8) months and nearly $30K later, they have come to the sad reality this firm lacks the expertise, empathy, and urgency needed. If you require any of these go elsewhere! The web site and key words may land you here, but do your homework and find another firm who has your interest at heart. Contrary Ms. Beringer's statements, my parents were NEVER verbally abusive. Rather they simply asked via EMAIL repeatedly that the material information they paid for be provided after 6+ months. To their dismay, they realized even a simple subpoena was not properly handled. Ms. Beringer was NOT engaged and not helpful.

She let her EGO get in the way of helping her clients who were paying her a lot to do a job that was simply not done!

Ok. I’m nothing short amazed from the performance of Samin and her wonderful team. Samin came HIGHLY recommended from my longtime good friend. Oh by the way...that friend is also sitting at home with his children at pretty much 99% custody. YES!! Go Samin!
