The lawyers and firm is professional with handling the case. They’ll keep you up to date if you ask them to. However, I do not believe that it’s protocol for the front desk lady, Silvia, to be using the business phone for personal phone calls. After my case was handled, rather quickly, I came to pick up my documents. I asked Silvia if I could speak to my paralegal. Silvia was on the business phone, having a personal conversation on the job. She didn’t even bother to locate my lawyer until after her conversation which was 20 minutes later. My paper work didn’t even last any longer than 2 minutes, but I sat there for 20 minutes so that Silvia can talk on the business phone during business hours instead of doing her job.

I will not recommend using them, they are only in it for self profit and will send you to shady doctor and chiropractors in order to price gouge. When negotiating for a settlement it appears that they work with the opposite side tog a settlement, I never seen a mediator work for one side like Karen did on my case and send a A recommendation of proposal after I requested to take the case to trial. To avoid any consequences they are withdrawing from the case to shield their interest. No type of client and attorney Privilege at all, they make a decision and tell you to take the deal.

There are not enough words to do justice for the amount of gratitude I have for Best, Watson & Gilbert. From the initial meeting to the final settlement, I truly believe that I was advocated for throughout the entire process and was informed of each step along the way. Having never needed to seek legal help before, I jumped at the chance to meet with this firm when it came highly recommended to me by my chiropractor. Sam was the first person I met with and I was impressed right off the bat. He made the commute all the way from Garland just to meet with me in a place where I felt comfortable and that spoke volumes to me- seeing as how I was still shaken up from an automobile accident where I was T-boned and my car was deemed a total loss. He never made me feel like my questions were silly, or that I was wasting his time. Instead, he sat with me the entire 40 minutes and answered each question with compassion, intellect and grace.

Despite the fact that the person who hit me had the lowest auto insurance policy possible in the state of Texas, this didn’t deter Best, Watson & Gilbert for going through my insurance and seeking the under/uninsured motorist policy. About halfway through my case, Chris took over, and took just as good of care of me as Sam had. He explained what happens when the guilty party has the lowest auto policy, and what that meant for me. He assured me that it didn’t mean we weren’t going to win but we had to go down another avenue. All of our conversations were clear and concise, all while providing the details that I needed to be able to wrap my head around all of my different options. He never pressured me into making the “right” decision, nor did he request a timeline of when I needed to get back to him. He was extremely helpful, patient and respectful of my wishes. This meant a lot to me considering this was my first (and hopefully last) legal case, and I was by no means prepared to execute these decisions by myself. The guidance and wisdom that I received from these gentlemen is something that I will forever be grateful for. I will be referring all of my friends and family to this firm! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a law firm. Jeff was very dishonest he will come off nice until you sign up then he will show you the real Jeff. He gets very angry when you ask questions about YOUR case. James Best is not much better he Allows his staff to treat his clients like total trash. I"m revising my review, after i finally was able to get through the beginning stages and was able to communicate with the lawyer that handled my case. (Mr. Jeff Redmond) who is a very kind and respectful Attorney. I had a very good experience. He was very accommodating and made the process of finalizing my settlement go very smoothly.

I hired James Best to represent me after I was involved in a complicated accident. Despite the push back from the other driver's insurance company, James was able to negotiate a very good settlement for me without my having to appear in court. The process was stress-free; working with his staff was easy.

My first point of contact was Sam. He was so helpful in answering my questions and responding to my calls. -- they communicated clearly and timely with me. Best of all, the dispute was resolved in a matter of a few months, not more than a year as I had predicted.

Had them pick up a case for me in a hit and run. No one ever made contact with besides the one time the took my information when I called them. Never asked for my side of the story or and supporting evidence I had. And decided to drop my case once they could not find the man who hit me and failed to call and tell me about that as well.
