Mr Hughey was very responsive and professional.

Mr Hughey was able to keep it off my record which was exactly what I requested in order to avoid additional surcharges, obtain a deferred disposition, and obtain a payment arrangement again as I had requested. Thank you! I will definitely use him again should the need arise.

Reading the dissatisfaction review - people need to understand $40 is not for a full blown fight in a court room and the client expectation was unreasonable. Don't pay peanuts expecting the full circus and then complain about how horrible it was.

Such an awful service. Don't ever talk to his Assistant Melissa. My husband got a ticket saying he did not stop at the stop sign which we were 100% sure we did. Tried to ask the officer but he was very rude. So while I was sitting in the passenger seat I told my husband to stay calm and quiet and said we will go to the court. Long story short we saw the video at the Police office and it showed we had stopped. Even the officer who showed us the video was surprised how we got the ticket. So we got a court date but since we did not have any time off left at work and one of my coworkers suggested me this lawyer, I thought it sounded good. So I contacted his assistant Melissa and had a talk with her. I told her all the details: please have him watch the video so that the case could be resolved. She said she would, so I paid a 40$ charge over the phone and emailed all the citation papers and the paper that she had emailed me. Later, I saw that they had changed the court date to December 12th. I was positive the case was on the favor of our side as he was innocent so later I call that day to ask her the results and she starts giving me several excuses saying once she knows, she will email and mail me it, which was not making any sense to me. I waited until the evening as I did not hear from her, called by again and asked why she could not update me over the phone and she pretended as if she did not recognize me and asked for his info and said he had received deferred adjudication, probation for 90 days, and had to pay 200$. I asked what happened and asked if the lawyer had seen the video but she hung up saying he did his best. I was completely shocked. I am confident that he did not even go to the court. He just requested deferred adjudication. How can a lawyer be so negligent and untrustable? I was later talking to a customer that happened to be a lawyer and when I told him about my situation, he confirmed my thoughts. I wished we had taken time off at work and went there so that we would have saved ourselves from this untrustworthy lawyer. Now because of him even though my husband is innocent, he has to bear these consequences. So so sick of people like this. Would never recommend this lawyer.

Look at this absolutely the best attorney especially if you have tickets and criminal issues definitely come here he has a great writing online and good comments when I had some questions he definitely helping me even calling an attorney and just asking them about the law itself and how it works depending on if you have tickets or other serious matters sometimes they can answer your questions but if it's much more serious you can hire an attorney like this one that can help you and understand the law

To start off I hired Harris R. Hughey for a regular ticket violation. At first they were nice, polite and informed with anything new once they got their payment. He also stated the amount he wanted to represent me covered all expenses. A month down the road the ticket was resolved which was nice! But I got a email stating I had to pay the court a certain amount which was understandable. I called and spoke with this Harris guy himself and explained I was out of town for work and wouldn't be back till after the ticket was due. Told Harris I already called the Municipal court and tried paying it but one they wouldn't take it over the phone. Was told I could pay it online but it wouldn't be a deferred disposition! Harris told me to send him the amount that I owed the court and he would take care of it as he should have since that's what I paid him to do also. As I stated in the biginning what he wanted to represent me would cover everything including paying the courts off. So I paid the full amount due to the courts to his secretary Melissa and was told I'm in good hands and they will take care of it from here. I get a call 20 minutes later saying Harris R Hughey decided he wanted a extra 40 dollars plus 10% of what my court fees was or he wouldn't take the check to the court house! I told Melissa are you kidding me right now?! She stated ( " that's what Harris R Hughey just told me to tell you just now. So either you can pay the 10% of the amount of you court fees and 40 dollars additional or figure a way to pay it yourself") Keep in mind I'm out of town and there is no way I can pay it on time. I tell her fine, whatever just pay the ticket but I will be giving this firm a bad review. 6 hours later Harris R Hughey himself calls me and ask if this is Chris McCollum! I said yes sir it sure is. He started raising his voice saying let me tell you something and you're going to listen to everything I have to say rather you like it or not. Just blah blah blah and having a tantrum and attitude because he didn't like the fact I said I would give him a bad review! I cut him off and said thanks for your business but I'm done listening to you and if anyone needed to be pissed off and yelling it should be me. I'm the one you ripped off and charged 10% of my 316 dollar court fees and a additional 40 dollars to drive your lazy ass 6 mins away after you already said you would be happy to take care of it for me. Not to include the 400 you charged me already in the beginning to represent me. I ended the call and got 2 other calls demanding to listen to the rest of what he wanted to say. Needless to say this guy was very unprofessional and has a attitude/tantrum and does not represent how a lawyer should act or man of his word. I'm the last one to ever write a review EVER but this Harris R Hughey guy deserved one. Two other people heard the whole conversation and both said unbelievable, this guy is a tool! Be careful and GOD bless.

High unsatisfied, I gave him all the appropriate information when I first became his client and explained my situation. The day before he asked again for my drivers license so sent a copy the day before. 3 days later he emailed me and said he postponed it because he didn't get my drivers license. I explained to him I gave it to him and he said it was a mistake, understandable but still upsetting. Then I got pulled over for a warrant a week later for those tickets nothing happened I explained he said he had no idea. Then 2 months later the case was done and he signed me up for somthing I specifically request not to do then acted like the hero. His attitude was very poor and treated me like pond scum. He is very disrespectful

He has always replied or had his office reply to me as fast as possible. He helped us with two tickets and now an issue that came up with my son when I was worried he is helping this discouraged mother.

This guy is awesome! I've been having bad luck with the cops. I have received several citations not only from one county but several. I have hired Harris Hughey for all of them. I currently have two counties that I still have pending citations with, it was three. Harris Hughey said that there is a good chance that he could get these citations dismissed. I was skeptical but like he said, the court in Saginaw has dismissed two of my citations. One county down, two more counties to go! Hopefully, the other two counties Bluemound and Haslet will also dismiss. With Harris on my side, I have a pretty good feeling about it. I would recommend this guy to anyone.

This man is rude! I was left uninformed for the 4 months after I gave him my ticket. He then gave me two weeks notice to pay a nearly $200 fee. When I told him I was dissatisfied with his service he criticized me saying two weeks is pleanty of notice. I am not sure what I paid this man to do, and when asking him he was condescending and hung up on me. He is not worth your money stay away and go to court yourself!
