Got my whole speeding ticket dismissed! Definitely recommend this place!

Don’t waste your money with this guy, we hired him to represent our son for a speeding ticket. He didn’t even show up on the initial court hearing. Fortunately the judge was sympathetic to our situation and rescheduled the hearing. At the second hearing, a gentleman (Byno had some other attorney fill in for him) showed up less than 5 minutes before the hearing and simply told us to just plead no contest. What a joke...we could have achieved the same results defending ourselves.

I wont put what exactly they helped me with but what I will say is that no other attorney wanted to help me. I called 9 others before Jack Byno and all said no. Not only are they getting a high rating for taking my case, but they're getting the high rating for keeping me out of jail and keeping the incident off my record. Complete waste of $75. First time I ever tried hiring an attorney to take care of a traffic ticket. It'll be the last time too, they had completely no effect. Save your money.

They need better help at the front desk. Them telling me to leave and take a couple extra days to make a decision. It Was just what I needed, so I used that time to hire a different attorney. One who wants to make money instead of one who pays there employees to lose them money.

The lady that answered the phone was very polite. I stated my issue and she seemed to pay attention - But at last I was wrong. This lawyer did the typical thing went to the court clerk with a stack of issues and said lets settle - we will both make money and not have to do a thing.
So I politely responded to the email they sent me with my verdict (which I could have done myself) and it took them almost a week to reply which now causes me to have to go to the court and pay.

They accepted an offer without notifying me and I had to pay a fine and was unaware they settled. You are by far the absolute worst attorney in this state in my personal and professional experience; you take people's money and don't do anything, causing them to get charges placed against them because you keep them in the blind... you yourself are an absolute criminal! When the courts refer to you as "flap Jack" there's a reason. You should be arrested on your own accord and prosecuted for The crimes you commit as an attorney against your client but eventually someone will make you pay for the things that you do to people in need.

This 3.5 rating for Jack is false. The first time I saw his rating it was bad or a 1 and now that I came back to leave my rating it's jumped up. I hired him out of desperation. He talked me into waiving a jury trial for a bench trial by telling me he knew the judge and he was confident we didn't need a jury. Using the jury was going to take 3-4 hours and the bench trial was 30 minutes. As soon as I waived my jury trial I regretted it and asked to go ahead and have a jury trial which was denied. I lost and was found guilty for something that the evidence proved I was innocent on but Jack failed to present it. Jack only wanted a bench trail to eliminate the 4 hour wait for a jury. He was only after a quick buck. Jack also does not maintain a profession appearance. His hair is longer than most women's and he's never clean shaven.

I called today to fight a DOT Violation our company got in TX. The lady that answered the phone asked me if its a moving violation. I told her its a DOT inspection violation, she put me on hold. She came back asking if its in court, I asked her if she knows what a DOT Violation on an Inspection is? she says she does know and puts me on hold again. She comes back and asks me another question that has nothing to do with a DOT Violation. I ask her "Do you know what I'm talking about?" she automatically replies by saying I know what I'm talking about and asks me why I don't just go and fight it myself? You are a business I'm trying to hire you to fight a DOT Violation, and you ask me why I don't go fight it myself. The person that answers the phone in any business should know what they are talking about, or if they don't they should get someone on the phone that does. If this lady talks to customers like this imagine how many people just hang up or never call back for services. This was extremely unprofessional and my money is going elsewhere.

I received a speeding ticket (57/40) in a construction zone with workers present. I was dazed and confused when the motorcycle officer pulled me over, since I had just turned right on red about 25 yards back. In my frustration, I realized trying to fight it would cost more than the original ticket. I contacted Jack Byno's office, was able to speak with a representative who said they would handle it and let me know if there was anything else. About 4 months later I received correspondence from Mr Byno's office stating my case had been dismissed. I'm very grateful for the knowledge and expertise.

Okay, I have read most of the reviews, and i have to agreed. RUDE, RUDE, I spoke to a girl name Summer. She talked to me like I was stupid and she made it clear I did not understand. Its like, I was forcing her to stay on the phone and explain. They should explain how the ticket system works before hiring them. IF YOU ARE GUILTY AND CAN NOT PROVE OTHERWISE, do not hire them, just go head and pay your tickets. The way it seems, they basically only go to court for you.

My opinion is that this firm SUCKS. I received a ticket in Justin , TX for third brake light being out. The fine was $202. I got on the internet after researching how the law reads and it states that you are guilty of the offence if you knowingly operate a vehicle that has inoperable equipment. Also states that if fixed by first court date it should be dismissed with a $10 fee to be paid.I replaced the bulb the day after I got the ticket. I didn't have time myself to go to court so I hired this firm. First they had me send pictures that the equipment was fixed which I did The next that I hear is they appealed to Denton County which they said is automatic. The court date came and went for the appeal. I receive an email stating that I now owe a fine of $250 due by the 17th and if needed more time to let them know. They passed on the 90 days probation instead of the fine I requested til the 24th. never heard back. Today I check the court records and I have an arraignment hearing set for the 24th. All they needed to do was show proof to either of the courts. They sent an answer as to what happened when I asked them. All they said was the pictures did not provide proof. You would think an attorney would know that were the case and not request it as proof. Total waste of money here.

They are not about their clients and will not follow through with you on cases that go past due (even if you paid for that case). They do not email, are not very friendly and more expensive that other alternatives. Look at how fake the positive reviews look compared to people who take the time to describe their bad experience with them.

I hired this law office to help with my traffic ticket thinking I would have a better outcome. I ended up paying more then I would have if I just went directly through the courts deferred probation. I was still happy they were able to keep it off my record as long as I don’t get another violation within 90 days. If you can take care of it through the court don’t hire a traffic lawyer.

I am a CDL driver and was involved in an accident that was not my fault in Hillsboro. They wrote me a ticket for failure to maintain speed I think just to write a ticket. I’ve always had a clean record and I was scared to get a blemish. There isn’t a lot of communication from the law office and you won’t be speaking to a lot of people, don’t worry about that. What are you going to talk about anyway? He handles lots of cases and knows what he is doing. You will be notified about when to show up so don’t sweat it. You do have to pay up front for your fines and what not, but everything was handled the way it needed to be. Jack got the case dismissed and I got my my money order for the fines handed right back to me. (BTW keep your receipt for the money order, if not it’s hell cashing it back to to yourself) I needed a lawyer to get my case handled and got exactly what I needed.

Hired this office to take care of a ticket. They didn’t do anything I couldn’t have done myself. In fact my fine ended up being raised from $260 to $310 on top of the $75 I paid to the office for taking care of it. Terrible service. If you need a lawyer I’d suggest any office other than this one. In addition to this, the staff has been very rude and difficult to work with.

Wish I would've read the reviews BEFORE contacting this law firm. Seriously, if you have a bigger case to solve maybe then but for things like traffic violations just go to court. You're better off getting a way reduced fine going to court yourself. I was charged $75 for their services and ended up paying more for the ticket than I would've if I would've handled it myself. I went to court for my speeding ticket prior to this and I talked the judge into doing community service and waving fine and I got it off my record. I should just become a lawyer and scam people. Lesson Learned.

I have used this firm for years, the last ticket I got they got dismissed completely(like I didn't even have to pay the ticket), which I wasn't expecting. They keep it off my record, and that is all I care about. Most of my tickets I've had to pay, but who cares as long as its not on my record and does not affect my insurance. It's been a few years but I got another one today, will be dropping it off Friday and not worrying about it. The $75 is worth it, I don't have to worry about making any mistakes doing it myself.

Got caught speeding. Filled out their online form which was quick and responsive, the office even followed up with me afterwards. I tried to follow up about every week or ten days to see if there was movement but the office was very vague, and they didn't explain possible outcomes or affects of the settlements. So ask specific questions and hopefully Jack will respond. I received a warrant warning after they didn't appear in court for me. I reached out afterwards then my case was immediately settled. They shocked me with what looked like the original ticket plus $25, giving Jack's service a very ineffective and deceiving appearence. Turns out, they just didn't tell me what had happened and what is to come. They told me the warrant warning was automatically generated and the ticket would go through deferred adjudication (probation) which will keep it off my record after paying the fine. I'm sure they're busy but to make this a great experience, it would require them telling you what can and will happen, instead of simply receiving a larger fine to pay with no explanation immediately after a warrant concern is brought to their attention. Rare offenders, Jack is probably a GOOD choice. Constant offenders, well you are your own problem.

Great Service, Fair Price, Excellent Outcome

I paid $75 and get received an email response to contact the office. I received a DWLI ticket and as of September 1st my license is valid with no surcharges. Payment due is the same payment the court says it’s due $270 instead the court gave me an opportunity to show up and make a payment. Now Jacks office is letting me know that I got roughly 30 days to pay $270 in full. Plus $75 charge I could’ve used that for down payment if I just went into the Gainesville court. Now I feel like they did nothing for me, I figured since I have proof my license is valid than they should at least let me pay off in 90 days.

I've called 2x to be left on hold and never actually speaking with anyone. The first time I was on hold for 7 min +. I say + because I finally hung up. I figured I would give them the benefit if the doubt and give then a second chance but it was the same thing. would rate this law firm zero stars if possible

I've used this law firm before but recently, got into a jam so I went with them again. I never had a bad experience even the time I took the MO to the office and the lady (probably the one you sensitive Sallies keep crying about) told me that the letter clearly stated when to send payment. I didn't get butt hurt. I just made sure I did everything right. I sent my valid dl with proof of ins and like magic, it disappeared. Why would you leave a low rating when you haven't even used his services? If you can't follow simple instructions then give yourself a star for being such a dummy!

I'd give a 0 star if I could. I deleted my bad review a week ago because I thought I'd give a Jack a chance as he had stated that I did not provide a valid driver license or proof of insurance - this is already a red flag.

The fact is I had emailed both of these papers AND was confirmed by his assistance a few months ago in January. I paid Jack $75 to reduce a $270 fine because I failed to display my driver license at the time I got a speeding ticket. The fine was not reduced. It's been 3 months and EACH MONTH, his system would 'automatically' send me a letter saying that the fine is was not reduced and that I had to pay the fee a week from that day.

UPDATE:

I wish I was exaggerating this: received last minute calls from his office the night before my fine was due (in late April) because I was misinformed by his assistance about the fine deadline for 3.5 MONTHS :) I ended up paying an extra last-minute transaction fee due to his assistances' error. Nice...

Well it didn’t take me but 5 minutes to realize this was a waste of my time and a perfect reason to hop on google reviews! I just called this “firm” to be answered by a very rude young lady. I asked simple questions and even stated I have never had a traffic ticket before so I apologized for my lack of knowledge. She was rude and gave the shortest answers. I even told her she failed to help out whatsoever and that she was coming off as rude/angry and it wasn’t very professional. This didn’t phase her at all. She just said okay and hung up. I hope she isn’t being paid over $7.25 because that’s a bad investment right there!

I purchased his services and after asking for my ID I was informed they scheduled a court date and would go in my stead shortly informing me afterwards.
So the court date comes up, happens, then passes. I hear nothing. I get no answers. Well accept 2 week's after a notice from the court. Fortunately before a traffic warrant was sent out.

So I do some research, turns out Jack Byno was representing me in a boonies town 1.5 hours from his office posted here. The offices of Jack Byno would claim to represent Armstrong on the moon if that buggy went a mile over in a residential crater.

Save your money and find a small town lawyer near you and support someone who's office actually exists in the county you get the ticket. Gooday and fairwell.

If I could give Jack a zero I most definitely would. I have a legal plan through my employer because I have a CDL. I had a court date for back in February of 2019 which by the way Jack didn’t come to but had some other attorney show up to. I called my legal plan and voiced my concern and asked what was the chance of getting a new BETTER lawyer one that actually came to the court dates and of course was told that it was to late into the court stuff and to just try to stick it out with him(awful decision). I’m going to add that the communication between his firm, my legal plan, and myself was TERRIBLE! So I recently moved from Dallas to Atlanta and asked the young lady I spoke with on the phone to give me a fair enough notice when my next court date would be so I could make arrangements(because they told me 1 week before my February court) because that cost money for traveling and also time and I need some type of notice I mean I did just move 800 miles away so I’m still getting my finances back together. I found out May 1st late in the evening that I had court June 5th. I had just switched jobs and luckily they were totally understanding. Fast fordward to June 5th. I make my little happy way to Dallas FROM Atlanta, Ga 11hr 45min Drive by the way, made it there after work on the 4th at 1am which at this point is the 5th and drove back home after court on the 5th because bills don’t stop so them checks can’t either haha. Anyways I get to the court at 8:15 sharp because I hate being late. I look around and am trying to figure out which attorney is mine because mind you I have NEVER meet Jack By(No) before. I look at the clock which at this point is between 09:00-09:15 and guess who finally comes strolling through the door as if court WAS NOT AT 08:30!!! JACK BY(NO). Who’s giving me all this information that I have no idea what he’s talking about because I’ve never been in trouble. The officer claimed I was going 80/60 which anyone that knows me knows I’m normally creeping because gas be to gosh dang high lol. Anyways he tells me after I told him I wanted to plead not guilty and try to get the ticket dismissed or reduced, plead no contest really wasn’t sure what this meant but he made it sound sweet so I figured why not right I mean what else could happen! I get up there and basically embarrassed myself because the judge didn’t reduce my ticket and STILL found me guilty of 80/60 and I was STILL stuck with paying an expensive fine. So basically I spent $245 traveling to Dallas when I could’ve just stayed home in Atlanta and saved myself $245 and just plead guilty myself. I contacted the legal plan and of course they were shocked to find out he told me to plead no contest. He DID NOT EVEN TRY!!!! I wouldn’t recommend him or his “awful services” to my worse enemy!! Jack you did a terrible job and I’m disappointed that you didn’t even try! You SUCK. SN: Talked to another attorney to see what can be done to fixed his poor mistake and lack of help. I drive 60k miles a year and traveling thru these little towns and knowing where the speed limit goes from 65mph to 35mph is sometimes impossible. I average 2 tickets a year since 2012. Jack Byno has handled every single one. He’s been able to get them dismissed ( like my last one) or probation ! NOT ONE TICKET HAS HIT MY DRIVING RECORD! I love this place!! Used them last year for a ticket. They resolved my case quickly and efficiently. I recently had to use their services again, and I know I will be in good hands. Their staff is attentive and willing to answer questions as necessary. My emails and calls were always returned in a timely manner.

I obtained their services to handle a ticket when I already had a court date set but they return call today 5/3/19 saying it’s a Capias warrant because they tried resting the court date over a week late resulting it to turning into a capias warrant. If it was a capias warrant I would not have been able to set a court date to begin with. Now leaving me in a worse position then I would have been if I took off work to attend my court date 4/24/19... and now they are saying they are only refunding half the money... when I first called jack Byno they had told me it was not a capias warrant and they could handle it for sure.. . My opinion don’t not take their word for anything they say, they just want your to lock-in your business and credit card so they can charge you and collect immediately .. from my experience take your business elsewhere and find a better attorney... and I might add the staff is not understanding or kind of a mistake they caused . I would give 0 stars if possible. I had several unpaid traffic tickets holding my license from being renewed. I hired an attorney in Houston and he had them all fixed within 1 month- for great prices and I received NO convictions. I had a ticket in Ferris and he for some reason referred me to Jack Byno- they never explained any of the process to me and then two days after my supposed court date they tell me to send them a money order for the full ticket amoint. Why would I have paid them $150 to receive the same outcome. I could have just called and paid the ticket to the court months ago and renewed my license. Read the other reviews when you search his name. I made a huge mistake and didn’t not review before I paid him! Helped with nothing- terrible !

I just got a ticket today and called the office of Jack Byno for their service. I don't think I have had a ticket in over 35 years. I have to give 5 stars, because the person that answered the phone was very polite and it just took a few minutes for the process. But, I wish I had read the reviews before; now I am a bit scared. :/

Waste of time and money. I had a ticket that was to be dismissed if I just showed the court an updated driver’s license. Byno office charged me $75 to defend it and the court gave me a $95 fine. I could have done better myself for free. I’m pretty sure the proof was not presented. Absolutely no help.

What a waste of money. They don't fight your tickets unless you pay $500 and don't tell you that. They do nothing that you can't do for yourself. NOTHING!

BEWARE DON'T GIVE THIS CROOK YOUR MONEY, JUST GO PAY THE TICKET.

Yea I ended up paying like $200 more for the ticket going through Jack Byno and for the same service I could have done myself.

This guy is full of BS. He never tells you up front what is really happening. He makes a living off doing nothing you can't do and takes the money from clients real quick with out proper disclosure.

I was driving policeman in Anna, tx thought he saw I had no seat belt on, after approaching me head on at 70mph? showed him when I was pulled over I had my belt on, reached in my glove box no ins.paper ? Wrote me a ticket, next day faxed proof of ins. To Anna I thought all was OK ! They issued a warrant? Got a phone call from an officer about 10 months later, Hired Mr Byno law firm took 2 years but ticket dismissed all I can say they always answered there phone and always filled me in THANKS JACK BYNO !!!!

To be completely honest with you...I have zero clue why this attorney and the associates are getting 1 star reviews. I had two tickets - I called and spoke to a very friendly representative. It was $75 a ticket to use their services which was awesome. It turns out, if I were to pay my tickets in full, it would have been close to $1,400. 3 months later, I find out I only have to pay $400. So technically...this office saved me $1,000. I really couldn't be happier. All you have to do is FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS that they send via e-mail. I feel like most people are mad because they didn't follow their directions and deadlines. Will definitely be using them again. Thanks Jack! PS - I was not paid to write this review. I'm just pumped I saved $1k.

My experience with this firm has been a very disappointing and horrible experience. They claim they could resolve my ticket and I have done nothing but pay more money and experience continuous back and forth paperwork upon their request. Please do not waste your time with this business. They are only out here to take your money. TAKE HEED TO MY ADVICE spend your time and money on someone who cares to resolve your issues.

Hired this guy to get my ticket removed but he couldn’t do it. I don’t know what all he tried but it couldn’t be much because I went to pay my ticket and they offered me deferred and a drivers course. He couldn’t get it, yet they offered... DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY.

it is true you would pay double or triple in my case , very bad and irresponsible law office, dropped the ball on my ticket where i end up under arrest when it could have been avoided.

I, Victor, using my wife's Google account to write this review of Jack Byno, Attorney At Law services to Appeal speeding ticket 70 MPH in 45 MPH speed zone in Rural Texas in Hunt County. Picked Jack Byno's team after talking with their representative I felt I got caught in rural speed trap will little to no MPH warnings. I had my doubts on whether this appeal process would work. We allowed the court to fine me initially guilty but immediately appealed and posted the require $377 bond. At every notification from the court I copied Jack's team. Asked if there was anything else I needed to do. Every time I wrote using his contact information an directions they responded the next business day. There were a couple court setting dates that were changed but the last one conflicted with my vacation plans. Jack Byno's team wrote back that I did not need to be present at the new arraignment date and to proceed with my vacation plans. When I return from Vacation I asked for the latest outcome. I was informed after Five months and 15 days the ticket was dismissed and my $377 bond money order was returned by the court un-cashed. Trust and Patience is what one needs when dealing with the Courts. Wholeheartedly recommend Jack Byno and his team. His fee was very reasonable Saving me hundreds possibly more after you consider insurance rate hikes that might have followed. Way to go Jack!!!

I had received a speeding ticket going 90 in a 60 work zone. This being my first ticket, I had no idea where to start, let alone what my options would be. Jack was able to get the severity of my ticket and the fee reduced. I received updates almost immediately through email when I contacted them with questions. Couldn't be happier with their services!

Please don't hire Jack byno. You will pay them for nothing, plus you can't even ask a simple question without pissing them off. TVC pro driver hired jack byno to help me with a ticket. They did nothing for me, instead they asked me to plead guilty and even bigger fines. Worst law firm of all the time. 0 Stars.

DO NOT USE THEM , DONOT u will be out more money than the original cost of the tickets, he does nothing good, read his reviews more bad that good. Call David c Debusk off of 121 & haltom Rd he is cheap and handles the job and customer service is super nice.

They were rude! I ended up paying more than I had and that's not the worst part. I understand paying court fees and all that but to get a letter telling me that I can'take get a ticket within a certain amount of days from the ticket they handled (this letter was March of last year ) to getting a letter in September of this year saying I violated by not sending in my driving record when I never was informed to do so is crazy! Now I have to go to court for something I was unaware of. Luckily I have all the letters from them. I don't know how much help those will be but I hate that I'll again have to pay more court fees than if I had been notified from jump I could have taken care of it

Waste of the $75. I learnt the hard way, represent yourself if you are able to visit the court house yourself in person. Dont waste the $75 on the lawyer. You can probably do better negotiations. You can always negotiate the probation period yourself to ensure the ticket does not go onto your records. I dont think they added any value. I paid the full price of the ticket plus the $75. Not Recommended!!!

I just received a letter from this office with a deferred disposition and that i have to pay all the fees by next week.

I paid him $425.00

For a simple speeding ticket, be sure to just read the laws and regulations of the court you are appearing in. generally for texas courts, if you go over 25 above the speed limit, you will most likely be convicted and not eligible for deferred disposition to have the ticket removed from your record. this is a regulation for many courts. if you dont want to deal with the courts and having to go through all of the hoops this is a good service. but for something like a simple speeding ticket, just take some time to look at what your options are.

DO NOT use this attorney's office to handle ANY of your traffic violations. It will cost you an arm and a leg. I ended up paying over $700.00 for a speeding ticket! It would have been cheaper for me to just pay the court what I owed to begin with, but I was hoping that this attorney's office would be able to get the fines dropped. The only thing they managed to do after $700.00 is keep the speeding violation off my record. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It's better to just pay the courts upfront what you owe instead of getting robbed by this attorney's office.

Complete waste of time. Paid 75 dollars for a stop sign ticket to be handled ended up having to pay a higher cost for the ticket anyways. Could have paid the fine out right and saved myself time and money. The lousest law firm I have ever hired. Try someone else.

Great experience! Managed to dismiss all of my citations! Will use them again and highly recommend them.
