Run the other direction! A complete ripoff.
After changing attorneys on me twice and showing up unprepared in court, I relieved Beatrice Snider of duty. I ended up learning the ropes on my own and representing myself. That was easier and more successful than dealing with Beatrice.

This is the worst Law Firm. They bully their clients, over charge and do quite a bit of expensive "busy work" for clients but nothing actually gets done to resolve the initial situation. These are the types of attorneys that give lawyers a bad name. Susan Rosen actually yelled at me after I was "passed" along to her as the 4th lawyer in this group, waiting her turn to rip me off of 10s of thousands of dollars. I went into debt paying this firm more than a quarter of a million dollars in fees and they never got the job done. They are still after me for $47 thousand dollars ($17K in interest) because after I fired them, they charged me to copy and produce my files. They are the worst of the worst! Way to expensive and will do nothing to help your family.

I probably would have been better off representing myself in my divorce rather than hiring anyone from this firm. They drug out my simple case for over a year. What a shock on the day of your hearing to find your attorney telling you that you wont get anything THEY encouraged you to ask for, and then refuse to discuss it with the judge. I wound up over $30,000 in debt with this law firm and walked away from my divorce completely empty handed and filing bankruptcy.

If I could give negative stars I would. If you are accustomed to paying good money, more than the average, for good service, don't hire this firm. I hired Ms. Snider because she told me she could handle an aggressive divorce situation that involved high income. She was right, but she was aggressive with me. I was passed from one staff lawyer to another, each getting virtually nothing done after two years and charging me upwards of $250K. The last attorney on her team, yelled at me, literally scolded me, and told me not to interrupt her she she spoke. When I fired her office, I was up to date on all bills (hundreds of thousands of dollars) but received a "surprise bill" over $30K that was to prepare my files--after she was fired. Its all about the almighty dollar. They cared nothing about the fact that myself and two children where escaping an abusive situation.
I have spoken to dozens of past clients who have settled with her only to be legally "gagged" and are not supposed to say anything. Shady, Shady, Shady business that has no sense of ethics. Good Luck.

I have found the Law Offices of Beatrice Snider to be the best regarded family law firm in Southern California. You should have seen the look on the face of both Mediators (prior to resorting to litigation) when I informed them of my consulting attorneys identity.

When forced to litigate, Beatrice Snider did such a great job that the excess support I had previously agreed to in mediation, was reduced enough to cover my attorney fees and costs.

I came to Ms. Snider’s office initially because my friend’s recommendation was so strong. He admitted that he had mad a huge mistake by not hiring her in his divorce because her fees seemed too high at the time. In the end, he spent more money and vastly more time with others to achieve an inferior result in
his own divorce case.

I found that amongst her staff, Beatrice Snider strategizes and appoints the most appropriate team for the specific case. For me that was Christine Sickler and Anita McCloud. Their expertise and diligence really paid off.

In turn, I referred a friend to no avail because his ex-wife shrewdly consulted with Ms. Snider simply to conflict to her out of the case.

Ultimately when the time came for my own son’s case, Ms. Snider had my strongest endorsement.

I hired Ms. Snider to represent me in my divorce case. I hired her because she seemed like she could and would fight for me. The only thing she fought for, and is still fighting for, is more and more money.

Her "team" of attorneys doesn't include her, although she insists it does. I never heard from her again after our first initial contact, except when she demanded I come in for a meeting, and she stormed in asking for money.

Nothing that she said she was going to do was done, and she didn't know anything about my case. Her TEAM did things they shouldn't have done, and I am in much worse shape now than before I hired her, although thousands of dollars poorer.

They bill for every piece of unnecessary paper they generate, or email they read.

My suggestion, if you want my opinion, is to hire a single attorney, who will take your phone calls and work on your case personally.
