The people who gave good reviews must have been ok with settling after being told that their case wasn’t that strong or some other bad advice - run as fast as you can people - a good attorney specializes in one area of the law and knows everything about it... a “Shyster” aka: Evan Gould specializes in settling so he can pay his rent. He’s got charisma but when you sign his contingency contract you might as well forget any hope of doing anything but settling quickly... it’s hard to find an attorney I know but keep going - Ps/ I can barely wait to read his condescending response but you can bet it will be full of veiled threats and innuendo that I had no case even though he knows what happened after I found a good attorney!

I highly recommend Mr. Evan Gould. I am very happy with the service I received from him. He provided me legal advise and guidance. He was very helpful and informative. He is extremely professional, confident, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Mr. Evan Gould to others.

Absolutely amazing experience! When my employer terminated my employment, I found myself in very difficult situation as the employer was refusing to pay the severance that was outlined my employment contract. They cited several legal loopholes, and were determined not to pay. I attempted to resolve the issue myself with my former employer, but very quickly became overwhelmed by their corporate attorneys. After speaking with a number of attorney's in San Diego, I decided to retain Evan Gould due to his professionalism, honesty, and integrity. Every other attorney I spoke with, told me "absolutely we can win", and then asked for a large retainer for their services (leading me to believe, these attorneys were just after my money, and did not honestly care if we had a winnable case or not). However, when I spoke to Evan, he took the time to talk through the situation, really understand the facts of my case, and even let me know he felt it was going to be a very difficult case to win. After carefully considering all options, I decided to retained Evan's services. Evan worked with me on a payment plan that fit my schedule, and was very informative throughout the entire process. Long-story-short, Evan was able to double what I was able to negotiate myself and proved to be well worth the investment. Thank you Evan for you honesty, hard work, dedication, and unique ability to negotiate a favorable settlement against all odds.

I have found The Gould Firm to be highly professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. I've worked directly with Evan for about a year now and am extremely satisfied with his services.

This guy is a terrible attorney. I have a strong case for filing a claim against my previous employer, and was referred to Evan Gould as an attorney that would be willing to help me with my case or give me at least a free consultation, but as soon as I started talking I felt like I went into a preconceived ideation from mr. Gould that he didn't want to help me and just told me I can't I can't I can't I can't how about anything I described to him with the issues I had with my previous employer about working off-the-clock up to 3 hours consecutively during closing periods, and daily meal break violations, wrongful termination discrimination in the workplace, and retaliation and defamation from being able to work at other store locations. Told me that it was a long process too much money going into it just a whole bunch of reasons as to why it was sort of wasting his time, but I know that my friend work off the clock just for a couple days and was awarded a hundred grand of course 40% going to his attorney from Taco Bell last year. Bottom line is this guy doesn't want to help you with your case and he's going to tell you that it's a waste of his time right off the bat anything that you tell him after that just goes in one ear out the other he's a rich attorney he doesn't want to take anything below Goldman and Sachs cases. Don't ever try to hire this guy. Bad attitude.
