Not trustworthy. This firm hired us to serve papers for them in Fall of 2016 and we still have not received payment for services rendered. Monthly statements are sent. Nothing. They rarely ever answer the phone and when they do they claim they will look into it and get back to us. They never call back. I would never do business with this firm again and would never consider using them as my attorney. Just terrible.

• No retainer and flat monthly fees. Lawyers are generally viewed as costing too much. He work on a monthly budget which prevented overbilling and exhausting your resources in the fight for my kids.

Bob, I'm sure is a nice guy in his head, instead of meeting regarding my case, he spent endless hours talking about his daughter, never discussing my case, then he made promises that were never fulfilled.
He took 3K from me a single parent and blew smoke up my tail, several phone were made to follow up on why no movement was happening on my case. Then when we went to court regarding this severe parental alienation and abduction issue, The judge advises he never filed a motion, he didn't know any details on the case after he obtained all copies of my case file.
I ended up forking over my child to this deadbeat dad because we had nothing to fight with.
When I came to pick up my paperwork for an important criminal case that was opened by the deadbeats Dad's wife he avoided me, ignored my messages. I became agitated and literally jumped in the shower and came to his office only to sit 2 1/2 hours in the lobby. During my wait, I was wondering what is up with this guy and in comes another family who was advised that he was there as well, he was so angry he was ready to rip his head off, As I overhear the discussion he was having with the front desk, I realized our experiences were very similiar, he was had out if 9k. To make a long story short, HE IS A CON ARTIST, HE IS BANKRUPT AND GETTING READY TO MOVE HIS OFFICE AGAIN , AFTER JUST MOVING, HE CAUSED ME TO LOSE MY SON!!! AND TOOK MY MONEY, HE HAS NO BUSINESS PRACTICING LAW. DO NOT USE HIM PLEASE!! If any of you get a call where he is trying to extort you to take your post down don't do it, because he will follow through on his promises either. Contact the State board and have him answer to them.

All around good firm. Very responsive. Very professional. Bob loves quoting Dr. Phil. But his wisdom sticks with you.

Ashley the paralegal was amazing and Bob hammered the other side. My husband is a Dr. and makes a lot more money than me, and they tried to run up my attorney fees so I would be without an attorney at trial and lose my kids. Bob charged a flat monthly fee, and his retainer was $2,500 so not only did I not run out of money before trial, but Bob was awesome at explaining to the court what I was going through. He had a parental facilitator appointed by the court which made my kids father step his game up as dad.

I had called 3 law firms and was very discouraged. All the lawyers seem to care about was having my parents write a check for $10,000. Then I called Widner Family Law Group because their ad said no huge retainers. I met with him and Ashley and they really cared about the fact that my husband didn’t want to pay for child support and didn’t come to the teachers meetings and the kids soccer games.

Widner Family Law Group was great! I Went in with low expectations letting the stress from my case keep me down. I thought I was about to lose my kids. Bob really made a difference in my case and got me the results I was looking for. Thank you Bob!!!

I recently had the displeasure of having Bob mishandle my decree modification case. While I was a client of his, he went through 3 paralegals and moved his office to a shared office space. He was very difficult to track down until he wanted his monthly "flat fee" payment. Then he would disappear again until the next time.

At court he was unprepared and frequently did the exact opposite of what he said he was going to do. All hat and no cattle: Bob talks tough but will quickly throw you under the bus and blame you instead of his incompetence.

Don't just take my word for it. Read Yelp, read Avvo, and other reviews. I had numerous people contact me and share their frustrations after posting a few reviews. Ignore his paid sock puppet accounts that leave the same sterile reviews. There are plenty of other good attorneys in the Dallas area. Bob is not one of them.

My case had me stressing over my kids. Their mom got hooked on drugs and was trying to keep the kids away. Bob helped me fight for my kids and now we are stress free.

Awful. He might act very nice/caring whenever u meet him. But he's a very nasty person who just knows how to lie & take money from ppl going though bad situations. Plz read all his reviews before giving this guy a single penny. Notice the way all his good reviews are written (they're from himself). His last interest is your matter...he'll tell you what you want to hear & take your money but wont do anything. Unfortunately most people that go to bob (or any other lawyer) are in a really bad situation & they dont know the law... I was in a terrible situation both financially & emotionally. I'm not a lawyer & didnt know what im entitled to & etc... Bob told me what i wanted to hear & told me he'd work out a monthly flat fee with me since i dont have a $10K to $20K retainer to pay. I paid $3K/mo & not only did he NOT do anything, he extensively messed up my case. He has NO interest for your matter just your money. It's abt 4 yrs past but i'm still dealing with the damages he caused.

Paid him... He didn't seem like he really cared, had me pay for a test, then when it was time to go to court he was a no show, the paralegal never informed me that he wasn't going to show up for court until the judge called me. Left my fate in the hands of an intern, which left me to fight on my own, I trusted him to get the job done and all he done was rip me off, and withdrew from being my attorney and never answered the phone after that, I would not recommend this man to help you in your time of need
