The lawyers are great...when they're around. Most frequently, the staff either don't show up at all, or cancel a day before. Be careful if you plan your days around their availability because they don't tell you before you sign up that this is the norm.

Again, if you can catch an attorney- 4/5 star service for sure! May the odds be forever in your favor...

Rosalinda and the attorneys-and office staff were so helpful in my Case, I currently Reside in Colorado and my child was in TEXAS, and with their help. They managed to do an amazing job by getting me custody of my son, and helped me Through EVERYTHING. Very kind and Understanding and Patient. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs help trying for their children or anything in that case.. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!!!!!

this place is only good if you have very simple paperwork to file...i was taken advantage of by one of the staff for my moving services, i also paid my membership fee, went to court and had no clue how to represent myself, and the judge was furious...judge said, "they just took your money and sent you in here not knowing what to do!!" exactly right...they have no intention on making anything right with me and my kids...horrible place

This organization will not help you with your legal issue.

They have nearly put my friend in the hospital over taking her money a month later and then she got an email from Peter McCraw stating that he was not concerned at all with her plight and reminded her she signed a contract, yet negated to address her right to reverse authorization for the membership.
Ignored all possible negative implications for her and her family and blatantly disregarded any reputable business practices that would prevent this from becoming a worse situation than it already was by refusing to refund her money STILL

STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY THEY CARE ABOUT PROFITS

COMPANY IS RUN BY CHIEF PRINCIPAL OFFICER WILLIAM STUKEY WHO OWNS WM STUKEY & ASSOCIATES LLC IN GRAPEVINE TEXAS THEY ARE AN INVESTMENT FIRM THAT IS NOT REGISTERED WITH SEC.GOV AND NOT LICENSED WITH THE GOVERNMENT AS A CPA OR FINANCIAL ADVISORS

BEWARE

Don’t give these people your money.

They store your card info and charge you whenever they want if you signed an agreement.
Ie- five weeks after you made a big deal about not wanting to give them your money then getting yelled at by the CEO who works there, doesn’t report income, has over 340 in revenue and the same in expenses.

Look up their tax ID on irs.gov under Fathers For Equal Rights. If I could include a pic I would of their 990’s not claiming any income from the corporation but the CEO only works here and has a fancy office in Grapevine.

Shady shady shady

Oh and the good reviews are from the volunteers

Take that into account

CAUTION THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS

I needed some legal advice before negotiating a temporary custody agreement with my ex husbands attorney. I had already filed motions on my own, successfully and accomplished quite a bit

First of all!
The website is misleading. They lead you to believe you’ll get a lawyer in that they offer “legal services”
Don’t buy into it and if you do pay in cash because they held onto my info and charged me on March 7 and again on April 15

I’m now at risk of not having enough money to get back and forth to work until paid again and my electricity could get shut off and my cell bill is due

When I called yesterday I put my boyfriend on first
Rosalinda was on speaker, she didn’t know I was recording the conversation, I listened as she lied to my boyfriend telling him she spoke to me yesterday about the second charge and she rattled some bull about the payment processing system being responsible for the second charge and JUSTIFIED it by saying that WE were mistaken. We hadn’t been charged twice.
Uh lady?! The $350 is gone out of our account!
Twice!
Also we didn’t sign an agreement to be charged on April 15 we signed an agreement to be charged on March 7

I was shotgun style forced to sign for a membership so I could speak with an attorney before signing an agreement drafted by my opposing counsel for custody of my kids.

They completely knew that I was scared and vulnerable and would’ve paid any amount of money for a little security. Rosalinda exploited my insecurities by offering assurance in the form of another lie, she said she was helped by the foundation. BS. She took my money and before I knew it I was face to face with an attorney before I had planned to be. Had no intention of signing a contract with them that day, but she made it sound so different than what it was- and legal issues are notoriously stressful! She knew exactly what to say to rope someone in. That’s a scam folks.

If I had known going into the agreement that they’d charge me $350 TWICE I would’ve rather walked out of there with no consultation at all than pay $350 once.

They charged me the day I was interrogated by Mr. Boyd (who couldn’t stop hounding me long enough for me to complete a sentence) and when I let the CEO know I wanted my money back, didn’t have it to spare, wasn’t satisfied giving them my money, HE yelled at me and threatened to hang up on me if I didn’t stop talking

So I did. I shut up and listen to him talk down to me like I was an idiot, he told me his story and how things are in the legal system and suggested if I couldn’t handle Mr. Boyd’s advice that their non profit couldn’t help me anyway, but if I wanted to shut my mouth and learn (learn what?) they might be able to help? He never heard me say I’d signed the agreement already

I worked for Embody Love Movement as the Program Coordinator processing payments and registering new members. Non profit. Annual membership model just like Fathers Rights. We never made people pay like their children depended on us, and we never locked them into a contract and NEVER EVER would’ve saved their banking info to run their cards a SECOND time! And! We let people pay out the membership dues if they couldn’t pay all at once... Fathers Rights Foundation offers no such flexibility and zero kindness. They didn’t care about me, my kids, my money, my legal issue, they wanted the membership fee. And yelled and lied to protect it.

They are a failing non-profit and I’ll be reporting them to the BBB as well

So beware folks

You’re better off calling every attorney in town and begging them to work out a payment plan for 350 down (what I did and it worked) than giving your money to these people parading around like a charity while taking money from people who come to them BECAUSE they can’t afford a lawyer!!

These people are not good the attorney are very rude and very uneducated.they are only for Hispanics there not for African American people.me and my son sat in that office for two hours and i was suppose to be at work.but a Hispanic lady walk in and she go to the back and sat diwn and the attorney looked at me and my son and than her and just said oh she jumped to the top of the line.they knew i had been there for 2 hours.and the attorneys there dnt know anything.i needed some paperwork i told told them i was going to law library to get it they told me get it from them cause you might get the wrong one but really what it was they wanted me to pay over a 100 dollars why do that when i got it for 3 dollars.these people are no good.there are attorneys out here that will do payment plans with you.its worth just paying for one than to be scammed out your money and time and get no respect.

I'm going to be honest here, after years of litigation and learning the scam that family law is perpetrating on the public let me explain that Texas father's for equal rights is a great place for most people to begin. Let me stress the word BEGIN. Most people are clueless when either faced with an emergency family law issue or have just been served a court action regarding your children and or money and have no idea what to do. TFER was instrumental in my case by preparing first filing documents, although they may not set you in the best possible course, often times especially when regarding access to your children something is better than nothing which is what you would probably get on your own if you have no clue what to do. I give TFER props for helping me out in a jam, I consider it was well worth that money. I went back for more advanced assistance and found the service incapable so had to move forward alone. In short, I would recommend TFER to anyone in an emergency situation with no experience or knowledge of how to navigate the system. It will be invaluable to you. To the experienced litigant I think you would probably know your time and money would be best spent elsewhere unless you need specific documents made and can get the legal team to approve those documents to be generated by TFER, I would call that a Gamble. In all I am satisfied with the quality of service I received as I was not kidjacked this time like I was last time thanks to the knowledge of TFER to assemble a SAPCR suit in a hurry thus securing a line to my child instead of the mother disappearing Without a trace and being left holding my balls. Since men are so discriminated against by our system there is insufficient resources available to men to secure even the possibility of access to their child besides the infamous child support order which does nothing for custody and visitation. I found the Texas father's for equal rights to be a godsend in my situation. Although subsequently the experience was not what I had hoped but at least I see my little girl and she wears my name, that in itself is a treasure worth more than gold! THANK YOU KING JESUS!

Stay away from these people! They will Con you! Their nothing but sales-men trying to sell you a membership that has no value! You can google any information you need! This establishment was facilitated for the uneducated toward non-speaking English individuals that have no concept on how to help themselves. The attorney's there all have extreme debt-issue's. Everyone that works there are Hispanic for the uneducated Hispanics that are easily conned. They're fast-talkers so beware! They work with the attorneys to manipulate you into buying a membership! Don't be a fool here! Educate yourself! These organizations are everywhere around the low-income environments. Look-out for a Ivan Hernandez' he's a good sales men and will Con you quick! Good luck...

The executive assistant at this firm isn't familiar with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, efiling, or court procedure. Instead of filing their client's return in a timely fashion, she'd rather waste everyone's time with pointless requests, thereby jeopardizing their clients' due process. If you're considering doing work with this firm, I'd instead find a more knowledgeable and experienced staff.

This should be the first step for anyone starting the process of divorce. Yes, some lawyers are there to try to find clients but as soon as they know you are pro se they get on to the business of helping you.

Save your time. They only help you as much as a library can and charge $225 for it!! Just use the library. Attys are only there in hopes of landing your services, they really don't care to help.
