I was recently a victim of a opportunistic, litigious group of people that tried to take advantage of me. Upon calling various legal firms, one in particular whom I sent a lot of referrals to but will not mention here. All lawyers I called said "Sorry we do not handle these types of cases". Upon calling Steve Garthe, he also explained that his firm does not usually handle these types of cases, "However I will be more than willing to take a look at it, and see who best to refer it to, I will call you shortly" Not even an hour passed and Mr. Garthe explained that the other party had definitely been flagrantly in default by sending documents to a wrong address so that I would purposely default at my court hearing. He decided to go to work for me "immediately". He felt I was being taken advantage of and wanted to Stand up for justice!
