Michael Brehne is a huge asset to citizens in Central Florida. I was in an accident with significant damage and repairs to my vehicle. Following my repair I pursued a diminished value claim against a large insurance company with unlimited resources to fight the claim me from the start. I called all over but the small claims nature of my legal case left me without any good guidance or representatation.

We attained Chris Reed as our attorney after hurricane Irma and we needed someone to help us fight the Insurance Company who cheated us out of out-of-pocket costs and living expenses. We complied with everything we were asked- meetings, depositions, inspections, and sending documents. We were displaced for over 4 months and I was 8 months pregnant. After our deposition (January), Mr. Reed stated he would file a lawsuit immediately. After two months, we emailed asking for an update (March)- NO RESPONSE- emailed again in April- NO RESPONSE. He finally called my husband and apologized for "forgetting" us and stated he would file the next day. In June we emailed again- he had not filed and stated he'd do so within the week! In September I contacted them again and his assistant stated that he still only had a draft done and had not file- 9 months after we had our deposition. We told them that we obviously weren't worth there time. A week later, we received a letter from them letting us know we only had a short window to file a lawsuit, if we wanted to pursue with someone else- funny, we fired them for not filing! It angers us even more, that Mr. Reed never reached out to us and apologized, gave an explanation about why he didn't file, or try to convince us to stay with their firm- just a cheap generic letter. They completely wasted our time and now we wasted even more time and money taking time off work to go to their meetings, depos, etc!
