It took almost a year for the defendant insurance company to settle our case - but Alyson stuck with it the whole way through, and she didn't ask us for a dime during that year - and she never pushed us to settle or file suit either. The insurance company's settlement ended up being for less than half the actual medical bills...but Alyson negotiated the medical bills down enough to actually put some money in our pockets and to cover her own fee. Alyson more than earned her fee, which was reasonable to start with. I'm convinced we wouldn't have seen any of the settlement though, if we had worked with the insurance company on our own.
