I made an appointment with Mr. Burkhart, paid the fee up front, only to find out that a very junior attorney was assigned to meet with me in place of Mr. Burkhart. In my opinion this is a sorry way to do business and I did not find the meeting very helpful. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.

This law firm was listed as a partner on a legal plan that my employer uses (Hyatt Legal). After discussing the case over the phone they responded with "Unfortunately we are unable to provide legal services for your legal matter for the amount of money Hyatt pays for this service." If you are unable to provide the service for the amount that Hyatt will pay, then you should not be listed on their site as a provider. You cannot cherry pick for the services that I have already paid for through this legal insurance..

When I went in they told me everything I wanted to hear and gave false expectations on what they can deliver. This law firm spent more time creating a monthly invoice than actually working on my case. I had to constantly call and chase them just to get an answer on what was going on. I was overcharged on every invoice. I would absolutely NOT recommend the Law firm of Paul Burkhardt! EVER!

I had work for an office that were leasing water machines from a company that was bought by a larger company. The larger company began harassing me because I was the contact person but not account holder at one of the other offices, and the owner wouldn't return their phone calls. I had left the company years earlier and was being threatened of a lawsuit. So I retained Paul Burkhart and he got rid of them with a phone call. They didn't think I would seek legal help, but just pay a bill for breach of a contract that was never never made between me and them. He was easy to talk to and was compassionate about my issues which felt great at that time. I thought my issue was minor, but he didn't think so and fought for me because it mattered to me. I would recommend him for that reason.

I guess in reaching out to let other innocent people know the truth. They took a very high deposit from me, gave me false expectations. They are below average in my book. there are only a handful of honest lawyers out there today. Paul Burkhart is not one of them. Very upset and a waste of money. I did not disclose my proper name because i dont want this lawyer trying to contact me, asking to change my review and maybe hell offer me a gift card like other innocent people were stating in their reviews.

I just have to share this for other honest clients before you give this lawyer any of your hard earned money. I was actually writing a positive review because i also got an email offering me a giftcard to leave a review. So naturally you would think they want a positive review. But then i saw other people leaving similar reviews where they were offered a gift card as well and it made me change my mind and leave an honest review instead of a fake positive review. I found them on google and they indeed told me everything i wanted to hear, got a really high retainer, and just drug me along the rest of the way, no results. Be extra careful when choosing your lawyer, as most positive reviews these days are dishonest.

I actually got an email like some of the other reviewers on here stated. They just entice their clients with starbucks gift cards to leave them reviews. They also took my money and did not perform as promised. Paul Burkharts firm is not any better than most of these other law firms. They just will string you in and tell you what you want to hear. WASTE OF MONEY TRUST ME. THEY WILL PROBABLY TELL YOU IM NOT A CLIENT TO TRY AND COVER UP ALL THERE REAL NEGATIVE REVIEWS, BUT DONT FALL FOR IT!

Fantastic group of people. Paul and his team are outstanding. I've used him for my small business and they have always come through on time. They are also very personable, you don't feel like you're just a client when working with them and that kind of personalized service can be hard to come by with lawyers.
