Beware these people are outrageous and will try to get as much money as they can. Typical behavior of lawyers that give other lawyers a bad name. These people aren’t looking to help you. The two we can speak on are Marcia Harvey (paralegal) and Michael Singer (lawyer). We went in for a consultation on my grandmothers estate they went over everything and we started the process. They told us they would send over the rates, red flag, but they had been so nice and helpful we were willing to work with them even if it was more than what we were thinking. BIG MISTAKE. They’ve met with us once, and ordered some death certificates and sent us a bill for $1300. Upon telling them we would pay what we owe thus far but would not be using their services anymore they sent us a “final” bill of $2,731.75. We understand lawyers are expensive but this is outrageous. We have been in their office one time and HAVE NOT signed an engagement letter to retain their services. I would steer away from these people unless you want to be robbed blind. I can’t imagine what the bill would have been if we went farther with my grandmothers probate. These people are vultures that prey on those that have lost their family members.
