If I could give ZERO stars, that is what this attorney and her staff deserves. Do NOT hire Laura Schantz to be your attorney. I paid this lady thousands of dollars for a timesharing modification case and she did NOTHING. It's been a year and nothing. I'm so hurt and sad that I haven't seen my children, this attorney's office along with Mery (paralegal) are so insensitive to my situation. I usually do not write bad reviews for anyone but the fact that my new attorney at the Buitrago Lawfirm discovered that Laura Schantz and her staff faked all my motion filings to the point where they "fabricated and faked" a completely different case number on my paperwork and continued to lie to me about my case. She even made me think I had to seek "counseling" with my children without having a judge's order so she can refer me to her friend and steal more money from me. I'm so disgusted by this entire case. Everytime she said she would file a motion, I would never get feedback or any communication of anything she had filed. This attorney is a thief, do not trust this office and their staff. I hired a better, a much more aggressive attorney at the Buitrago Law firm in Coral Springs. within a week, he had filed everything my liar old attorney said she did. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE!!

She (Mrs Schantz) didn't even bother to show up for the court date!!! Her office called later that morning and said she tried coming but got stuck in traffic.... hmmmmm, no one called me or replied to my voicemails until after the appearance I made ALONE in court. She never even had the decency to call me herself.
I got married and needed a simple name change, I paid the $2500 she required (exuberant! I had ALL the required documents already filled out and ready to file since I tried to do it myself). The only ONE SINGLE court appearance before the judge and she DIDN'T EVEN SHOW!! The judge asked me pitifully where my lawyer was and I said I don't know. "Well, that's not a professional lawyer at all" was his reply.
Staff was wonderful (and sympathized), they were always professional.

I cannot say enough good things about this firm. I am a client of Laura's and she was so sensitive to my individual needs and compassionate. I felt completely at ease and confident to place my affairs in her hands. Laura handled everything during the divorce with expertise and expediency. She makes you feel as if you her only client with the attention that she and her staff give you. All of her staff are excellent and very kind. They get to work right away for you and do their utmost to get you the best outcome for your case. In my case there was not a lot of money and Laura was sensitive to that as well and did everything she could to help mitigate the costs while still providing the utmost attention and care to my case. Really bad service, we had an appointment for 3:30 PM and were left sitting in the waiting area for 20 minutes without attention. We were informed the person was running 20 minutes late at 3:20 but no one ever came back out to inform us of the status. The door has a bell and when one of us went outside to use the restroom, no one came to check on us. Very disappointed that this supposedly top rated office wasted our time.

Laura Schantz and team have been amazing representing me during this difficult time in my life.
