Jacqueline Salcines was a great disappointment. She was supposed to negotiate a debt I have with Amex, but she just make me waste my time, and I ended up with more problems than when I hired her. I trusted that my problem was being handled by a professional, when I hired her by February. The first two calls I had with her and also when I went to her office, she always mention that we were on time to prevent a litigation, and also that she normally get a 10% to 30% max of the debt in negotiation. The next months she disappeared, I only received two emails from her, just after I emailed her, telling me that she was on my case. By may I received an email from her, because I have been sued. I was really mad, and her answer was always that she haven't promised anything, that it is not on the agreement, and that she can't do anything if Amex decided to sue me. But she was not supposed to prevent that? She also told me that she called me on those 3 months to discuss my case, but I don't have any call from her on my caller ID and she can't never gave me the dates of such calls. Why did she lied? Also, why did she even mentioned a percentage if she was not going to get it? And after that, she is asking me $2500 to represent me on the judgement. Now 9 seven months later, I am in the middle of much more problems than when I hired her. And on top of that, I loose the $1500 she asked as a retainer, for which I didn't get nothing in return. She always mention her ethics and 30 years of experience as a lawyer, and my case should be a piece of cake for someone with that much experience. And with that much experience she should have got much better results. She just gave me poor excuses, but I never understood why she never negotiate my debt. I do not recommend her.

I read through all of the reviews and it seems that I had the same problems as everyone else. I have three years of email communication with Jackie where on so many occasions, I am having to reply two and three and four times just to get a response. When I did hear from her, she was impatient, condescending, and at times, downright rude. She clearly did not care to help me understand the very convoluted legal process I was in, and instead would remind me that she’s already told me whatever I was asking her however many times. It was awful. If you tried to address any issues with her, she became defensive. I was the idiot that needed to stop asking so many questions and understand that she’ll get to me when she can get to me. Lol. It was a joke. Run the other way.
