I chose Steve Carefully after I was divorced and he did not represent me initially. Lets just say were not always emotionally stable when we go thru a divorce. But eventually you bounce back and figure it out. I had children and realized I made mistakes with my initial attorney. Steve has high moral standards and was very effective keeping me out of the court room and lowering my fees. But sometimes your convictions are strong and the courtroom is required. He commands the courtroom with his experience and his composure. Sometimes we get lost in our emotions but thankfully Steve does not!!!!!!

I have known Steven D. Kaufman for approximately 6 years.
I found him to be experienced, responsive, knowledgeable and honest. While working with Steven D. Kaufman, I felt as though my situation was in adept and trustworthy hands.
He is well respected in Miami-Dade Family Court and HE has earned this respect following the values of his faith and commitment to his vocation.
I would also like to comment on his staff. I have never encountered an attorney or there staff who are like them. They are very kind and responsive, I'm so grateful to had them to answer all my calls and emails.
Wonderful as a human being, it became my best legal advising in difficult situations during my case. No matter how busy or how many cases he has to attend he will always return your calls, text message, and email.

Not a good attorney. Will take your $5,000 retainer and settle without fighting for you and your child and without even trying. Seems he always looks for the easy way out.
