Anybody could leave a review on google, this was also my review through another friend- "PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW!!.. I have deleted my previous "good" review that i've had given for Mignott Law. I hired Lamont Mignott last 02/08/2019 for child support and time sharing modification, It was a mistake. He barely worked on my case, i gave him a retainer of $2000.00 first and it was used right away before he even went to my first hearing on 6/20/2019, i was already being billed and paid like $6000.00. I've called the office in several times to explain my situation i even talked to him and he didn't even cared about what i was going through. i was never given receipts for what it was submitted at court, just the office billing statements that they generated but no proof as per where the my payments were going to.. Whenever i will speak to him over the phone he would always give me the run around, and of course delayed the phone conversation to charge me more. on the last hearing he went on 10/18/2019, it didn't come out with positive results. his associates Sergio who was very unprofessional btw told me the results of the hearing.(i didn't go to that hearing because i wasn't informed by the Mignott office with enough time to request time off from work). By this time Mignott Law had already charged me the amount of $10000.00 in my credit cards. I went to the office personally on 10/25/19 to speak to Lamont M and he made me wait 3 1/2 hours. And he had the nerve t ask me for more money ($2000.00 more to be exact) because he didn't do things right. I filed a complaint to the Florida Bar which he is under investigation. I had to drop him from my case which he didn't do anything and he has no work ethics or professionalism, he has no empathy. I was advised by Lamont to write a good review before to get a discount of 10% which it didn't help at all. I lost almost $10000.00 for him not to do anything and my case it's still pending, I haven't gotten no refund at all! I had to learn the hard way, and also of these caused for my health to deteriorate for all the stress he put me through and my case it's still pending! if you have gone through the same situation with Lamont Mignott, File a complaint in the florida bar, we can't allow for lawyers like this to continue practicing and taking advantage of the struggle of others for money.

They are exceptional! Mr. Sergio is extremely professional, has a great attitude towards everything, very understanding of your situation and he just helped me throughout my whole process. I’ve used them several times and I always have a good experience with them! Ones of the best in Miami for sure!

Lamont is a great attorney and feel confident in his representation. Sometimes due to the volume of his work little error occur which I feel makes us look sloppy. I would recommend him as a attorney.

This guy should be disbarred .Hes very deceptive and dishonest and very inexperienced as a attorney . I would not trust him with your money . He totally screwed up my case and then was a no show to court and has very bad communication skills . Save yourself the aggravation and Drama do not deal with this crook mignott . Head over to kentucky fried chicken and have yourself a nice lunch instead

Very good attorney. They are very knowledgeable and direct. Every question I had was answered thoroughly. They are also very clear about fees and how they will charge their time. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Their secretary sent me an email showing all my remaining retainer hours left over from my retainer payment and not only can't I get an answer from them on a refund now that it all came to an end but now, the attorney dropped me "the morning of" the Case Management Hearing in front of the judge. Never received a warning or communication from anyone. I didn't get anything from both the cases they represented me by the way. Would not recommend Lamont Mignott to anyone. I am filing Florida Bar complaint against attorney Lamont Mignott.
