I had an easy relocation case, mandatory military move with primary custody. Lindsay showed up the day of trial with no evidence to support any of the factors (even though I sent them to her) or to back up alcohol abuse and absent parenting of my ex. She told me that she was so nervous about the trial she didn't actually prep. She only got her briefs and evidence together a couple days before the trail. She also told me she hates cross examining because she doesn't like to be mean or have people not like her. So when my ex husband lied about all of his terrible behavior she didn't push back or have any evidence to fall back on.... After the trial she told me that we would be able to show the evidence to the judge if she believed his lies... then when the judge believed him ruled against my relocation, I was told I had absolutely no options. I am now forced to live away from my husband and step son for the next 2 years until they can hopefully be stationed here with me and my younger children. About $30,000 in attorney fees, and another $10,000 to pay for travel and to move back in less than 2 weeks after losing the trial. When I asked for a refund, I was told, "our attorney represented your interests well both prior to and at trial" by the Law Practice Managing Partner at McKinley Irvin. I spoke with several other attorneys to somehow fix my situation, I was told each time it is too late. Your attorney ruined any chance of ever being able to move to this duty station with your husband. I feel like Lindsay ruined my life for the next two years and then made me pay her to do it. When I tried to be reasonable and just ask for a refund, McKinley Irvin stood behind her negligence and refused to refund an obviously horrible representation.

Going through a nasty divorce and my first attorney was throwing me under a Sound Transit train. Fired him and hired McKinley Irvin. They actually did their job to protect me. As a male in WA State, I actually got a fair trial and conclusion, which is exceedingly rare. McKinley Irvin also gave me a realistic retainer fee, instead of the usual lo-ball / nickel and diming game the other attorneys were doing to me. A sincere "thank you!" to McKinley Irvin, Lindsay Camandona, and everyone who helped her.

My husband and I sought the legal expertise of Attorney, Lindsay Noel and her paralegal, Shelley Solie. Having to go through anything in the court system is understandably stressful, and what we were dealing with was beyond anything we’d ever dealt with. I wish i would of read the Yelp reviews and not relied on Google when I went here for my uncontested completely drafted divorce that ended up costing me upward of 6 grand. Michelle Donaldson was an incompetent paralegal I ended up having to ask to be relieved from my case. My intial lawyer left the firm on me early on (which should have been a clue to leave too, but I didn't) and I was transferred to Rob Nero who always seemed to have something new to tag on. Again.. I walked in papers I'd prepared myself and had only one change to the partenting plan. My inital lawyer said it was all very clear and she didn't see this going past the 2 grand mark (6+ grand after she left!) The billing department contacted me more than anyone. Susan Manns with billing would call demanding more, her emails were rude. She would nag on me to pay bills I'd already paid and refused to provide me copies of my statements when asked. I've never had a place push me to the point of losing my professionlism before, but they did it. Do yourself a favor. Dig further than google. The bad reviews will show. Don't waste your time and money with this place.

I would not recommend Samuel J Page to my worst enemies or even if he was the last lawyer on earth. Go to him if you want to be gouged.

Jamie and her team at McKinley Irvin are total experts with family law. I've dealt with a lot of family law attorneys over the past year and a half, so I have a diverse perspective on this. Frankly, the majority I've worked with were incredibly unethical, super untrustworthy and just disinterested in actually following the law, but not Jamie and her team. I do not state this lightly.

She doesn't back down even under a lot of stress on tough cases, her fees were very reasonable, and she's unbiased. She's the real deal, and she works in nearby counties. Don't waste time hiring someone you will just need to fire after they mess up your case and cost you a bunch of money.

Family law, the court system and the divorce process can all be a little convoluted and very confusing some times. It can all seem capricious and out to get you, on a bad day. Even on a good day I would be hard pressed to navigate all this on my own. Having a professional like Ashley -- always calm, prepared, and on the mark -- leading the way has probably saved me. They were ok. My lawyer got the job done and was friendly with me. However, during the first meeting we were told by her that if the case did not go to trial, the first large payment made by us would be enough to cover the cost of everything. That was a big lie! We've had to pay over $3000 more than that large sum. I asked for 2 revisions on the initial paperwork (ended up being 3 changes because the first time she changed it, it was not what I had asked for so I asked her to change it to what I wanted and was still charged for her mistake). My divorce is finalized and she was nice to me so I'm happy with that. But I would not do any other work with them.

As a former family law attorney myself, I speak with some knowledge on the subject when I say Jamie Walker is an excellent lawyer. In the end, I am now a father in custody of his children. My children are safe, happy, and this, in large part, is due to the hard work put in by Anthony and Mallory. Worst money pit experience ever! Values professed in Mission Statement and Philosophy were never part of our experience. Also communication skills did not exist,

$9,000 for a simple child support modification. They aren't willing to work out any reasonable payment plans after they suck up all your trust fund. Plus, we didn't even have positive results after our case. $12,000 to have it lowered $100. Terrible!!!!! Not to mention terrible communication. We didn't even find out details about our case until 7hrs later. Please...be careful. Find another company. Please read the agreement and fine print to your contract. I feel that we got scammed.

Their attorneys may be good but I couldn't even get that far. After a screening where they learned I was unemployed and semi retired, they scheduled me for a $345 consultation. After the consultation I called back to pay my retainer. After a few questions being asked she basically told me I am ineligible to hire their attorneys because I was unemployed. I called and spoke with the manager for client services (Damon) who reiterated what the other gal said but gave me a couple options: 1) have a co signer that makes $75k+ a year or 2) pay twice the retainer which would be $13k. They knew I was unemployed but failed to give this information before taking my consultation money. Regardless of their policies it was such a hassle and am looking elsewhere. And yes, I am more than capable of paying their high dollar attorneys.
