I want to post a review for Rivera Law offices. 3 years ago I was injured in a car wreck. It was a complicated case with some fairly severe injuries to me. I had a spinal cord injury in my cervical spine and a possible brain trauma. I have severe pain every day and limited movement of my head, neck, and arms. The back of my head still swells and I have to ice it each night. Many more symptoms. But because I had had previous headaches, the opposing lawyers said the accident didn't affect me. Not true. My life changed forever the day of the accident. I've seen 5 neurologists, had 3 MRI's, spinal xrays and many neurological tests showing impingements and damage. I get pain shots weekly, have to take prednisone for inflammation, take Rx pain meds, may yet need surgery, yet opposing lawyers said I was at fault (I wasn't!). Anna Pierson from Rivera Law was my personal lawyer. She was relentless. Anna's knowledge of the law and her personal desire to fight for me brought the best possible result. She proved the accident was not my fault and all medical was covered, which I didn't have to repay (yes, both medical and insurance companies can take their costs out of any proceeds you ate awarded!) She won my case and continued litigating with medical and auto insurance even after the arbitration was completed. I received 100% of the amount possible. I had been turned down by 2 other lawyers saying my case was too complicated. I'm so thankful I found Rivera Law and Anna Pierson! She sincerely cared about me as a person!!

I Wasn't sure if they could help me with my situation or not. I explained what I was looking for and the receptionist was a bit curt, stated she wasn't sure if they could help but she would ask and get back to me. They never did. I wouldn't have minded if they could not help but rudeness of not having the decency or mannerisms to contact me on that information is a practice becoming all to common in everyday life however as Professionals they should know better.

I did not think Ms. Rivera was interested or knowledgeable about product liability and resulting injuries, including mine from an office cabinet door falling on my head. In the 3 years I engaged her, 4 times she referred to my injury as resulting from a car accident. She would not tell me her legal research or strategy for my case. I did not agree to the small settlement offered and rescinded my approval. After we parted ways, my own research found that the same patented overhead flipper door had fallen off onto another worker's head in another state exactly five (5) months before one fell on me.
