I highly recommend Jensen & Leiberan. Ms. Jensen helped me with a family law matter. She was professional, supportive and attentive throughout the process. Through her perseverance we avoided court and obtained an equitable outcome. Not only did Ms. Jensen help me maintain my sanity, she was a consistent advocate for fair and ethical choices, making sure that when the process was done, I could look back and feel good about myself knowing that I maintained the moral high ground.

The first person who posted on here is actually very correct. Deanna Jensen did everything other then represent me or listen to her client. I say red she does blue. Her problem is she believe he is correct and literally gave up on the case once we where almost over. DO NOT GO HERE. GO elsewhere. You are going to be paying up the butt anywhere you go so chose somewhere else or get used to listening to one opinion alone and have your attorney send emails without your permission and talk to the opposing party without your knowledge derailing any chance of compromise. Worst attorney ever.

I am updating this after Deanna decided to respond. Her post is absolutely false. I never once represented myself and she never once resolved any issues at all. On the contrary she caused more issues by going beyond her duty as an attorney and doing everything other then what her client is asking. In addition court documents are public record which never show me representing myself. This is extremely sad to see her post a comment with so many provable lies in it. I stand by my review and the first few who had nothing but horrible things to say about Deanna. If anyone notices all the good reviews are about her partner Leiberan and NOT her. TRUST me. There are many divorce attorney's out there for much cheaper and will do a better job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM.

My goodness, I can't say enough positive things about Ms. Leiberan. Extremely conscientious care and communication regarding my case, the highest quality legal writing and strategizing in terms of authoring pleadings... and I still give this endorsement having lost my appeal through absolutely no fault of hers.

Ms. Leiberan has become a beacon of hope for what seemed to be an otherwise hopeless situation. I came to Ms. Leiberan heartbroken and confused that I had lost custody of my child after 4 years of proving to be a dedicated and fit parent. I struggled for years to get my request for a simple modification presented and argued before a judge. As the custodial parent acting in the best interest of my child, it did not seem like an insurmountable task and at the very least, I thought the worst that could happen would be for things to stay the same. I never thought in a million years that I would have custody taken away from me and lose parenting time.

When I explained my story to Ms. Leiberan, she was compassionate, calm and seemed to recognize immediately that something was definitely not right. I was worried that my case was so unusual that she might not want to take it on, but she was not intimidated by the complexities of the case. Ms. Leiberan has faced numerous hurdles and roadblocks in her effort to get a complete record of the case but she took appropriate steps to overcome the obstacles so that she could write a competent and compelling argument on my behalf.

Ms. Leiberan has an impressive writing style that is professional and concise, yet there seems to be a lot of layers to her arguments. She has an ability to accurately depict the most pertinent legal issues without getting the reader lost in the weeds.

It is unfortunate that a relatively simple family matter went so terribly wrong that I had to pursue an appeal. I don't know how I could've brought this matter to light at the appeals court level if she were not there to help. She is a strong advocate for the sanctity of law and for her clients. She is the type of lawyer that I hope future lawyers have an opportunity to study and learn from.

Although my appeal is still pending and there are no guarantees as to the outcome, I am confident that I chose the right person to represent me and I can take comfort knowing that my arguments have been accurately portrayed to the court.

I had a couple of bad experiences with attorneys and Margaret restored my faith. She worked diligently to help me in the appeals process, did an excellent job and we won. Margaret also a very compassionate woman who cares about her clients and cares about doing what's right through the legal system. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her as a human being as well is an excellent attorney.

Margaret has been extremely good at explaining how the process works and what to expect. She clearly has a lot of experience with appeals. I have been a client of Jensen & Leiberan for over 8 years and of Miss Leiberan’s for longer than that. They have always treated me with respect. When reading other reviews, most were very positive, but a couple of them that were negative just didn't sound right, but were rather malicious in content. Sounds to me like they are opposing parties, that just didn't get their own way, and are attacking this law firm, accusing them of writing their own reviews?
That would not be consistent with this law firm's quality practice.

I hired Deanna Jensen after interviewing several other attorneys regarding my daughter's custody case. I had a terribly difficult and complicated case with a child living on the East Coast and CPS involvement. Ms. Jensen navigated multi-state jurisdictional issues, CPS reports, psychologists, an out of state Custody and Parenting Time Study, and false allegations of abuse with skill and to tremendous effect. I was awarded Custody and I know that there are precious few attorneys who could have prevailed under the extreme circumstances that I was faced with.

Deanna Jensen is highly organized, forthright and understands Oregon family law thoroughly. If you have a legitimate legal problem, and you care more about your kids being healthy than "winning" your case, then there is no finer lawyer to be found.

I would have been better off on my own!

In the state of Oregon, the family law system is supposed to work in the best interests of the children. These attorneys care only about their own bottom line They have wriiten some very nice reviews on their own behalf here and there on the web.

I hired Deanna Jensen to "represent" me in a dissolution. Not only did she she refuse to hear and act upon valid, documentable, concerns for the safety and well being of my kids, she pawned me off on an incompetent rookie associate. The firm stedfastly refused to refile the in the appropriate county ( where an extensive DHS records of my ex and her family exist). Instead Jensen insisted I "compromise". Compromise the safety and well being of two beautiful, wonderful loving kids?

Less than two weeks before the hearing the firm withdrew, leaving me with no representation and not much chance of putting together another firm for the hearing. Later, in the very nick of time I won custody of my kids - without a lawyer! I did on my own what they would not, could not, do.

I get no child support, and due to the lack of ability. interest, integrity etc. of this firm I pay $700 / spousal support. Mind you, I am the full-time custodial parent, with one blue collar job.

Despite the abymismal level of service, this firm is now suing me for payment of services not rendered. Icing on the cake.

At least the ex-wifes methhead boyfriend (who this firm was well aware of) didn't molest my daughter or shoot my son. He did try, from what the kids tell me.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!!!!!
