I depend on reviews for almost everything I buy, do and experience. I'm not as good at consistently writing reviews though. This is an exception! Generally people don't contact a lawyer unless there is something life altering going on. That was the case when I became a client of Ryan Hilts. Years ago, I was in a crosswalk on my bicycle, crossing with some other pedestrians, when a drunk driver swerved around a car, narrowly missing a large group of crossing people. Instead, the driver hit me square on. I went up and over the hood of their vehicle. Instead of checking to see if I was okay, the drunk driver drove off.

I was pretty badly injured, but I had luckily remembered their license plate and reported the car to the Police. Not only was the driver drunk; he had also been driving with a suspended license! I felt he did not try as hard as he could have for my case. I still have shoulder and neck pain to this day and wish I had pushed him to fight more. While he 'won' by getting a settlement I guess it would be called, we didn't go to court, we should have. I learned a lesson. Fight harder, and really take photos and videos if possible of any accident I'm involved in. Just wish my attorney did more to get us a more just settlement.
