When you go before the judge to a hearing for your disability Inquisition go as you are. Don't worry about dressing up before the judge. Be real not fake.
I am very thankful my Doctor recommended her to help me in my need. Please if you need a good Attorney Please go with this firm. I promise you will Never Regret it. It will change your life so the much better.
Again I would give them the Highest recommendation to anyone. 200++++++++
Stars. And really that only scratches the surface.
Also I would like to acknowledge Erin her assistant. Her kindness, help and ability to do what she does was such a big help to me, but as important to Help Ms Haggerty with this whole process.
They are the best
Scott’s assistant, Erin, is equally compassionate, and her professionalism, prompt responses, and willingness and ability to address client questions and concerns is a huge asset, to both the client and the firm.
My specific case had a hiccup on the part of one of the disability determination employees who reviews claims for Social Security. Scott not only quickly identified this issue, but also, proactively took the steps needed to ensure that this hiccup did not become a problem or cause any delay in the processing of my claim. Scott advocated effectively on my behalf and Erin kept me updated and informed throughout every step of the process.
My ssdi claim was approved and I can say with certainty that there would have been many delays and issues without the diligence, experience, and expertise of Scott and his staff.
I highly recommend Scott Sell, and the Thomas, Coon, Newton & Frost law firm for any SSD or SSI case.
ADDITIONALLY:
After reviewing my SSD acceptance letter from the judge I am further able to share that Melissa Haggerty did a phenomenal job presenting the OODLES AND OODLES of medical information to the hearing judge. Had Melissa not been so specific as to what and how she presented my information I'm not sure I would have had such a favorable outcome. Melissa clearly understands which information (out of the OODLES) will be most helpful to the judge and to her clients disability claim. Thank you Melissa!
I strongly recommend them to anyone in need of SSDI or other claim help. I'm sure the same is true for injury or anything else you might need legal help with. They were a pleasure to work with.
Choosing to pursue a disability claim can prove emotionally difficult, as it is a reckoning with one's own illness and how significantly one's life has changed. Likewise, the process can be a dense and confusing one.
Without Ms. Haggerty's and Ms. Daniels' expertise, assistance, guidance and sheer empathy, I would not have persevered through this process. Without their expertise, I would have made errors along the way that would have derailed it.
Throughout the entire process, their unerring support and ability to communicate the complexities of the application and subsequent decisions were invaluable. They also understand the emotional portion of this type of claim, and how difficult that can be.
Bottom line: here, by golly, is a law firm who cares about you. If this sounds naive, I can hardly believe I found one. And, they will do everything they can for your claim. I recommend them 11 out of 10.
I felt incredibly well taken care of and would highly recommend her to anyone.
Here are the big highlights for me:
Effectiveness: Cynthia comes to the table with a depth of experience, and expertise. She is a skillful strategist, and an accomplished negotiator. I believe my outcome would have been significantly less had I gone with a less effective attorney.
Communication: Cynthia and team are incredibly responsive. It can be stressful waiting on information, and thankfully I never had that experience with them. They communicate clearly, are happy to hop on the phone to discuss things in detail, and are cordial and professional. I never found myself wondering what was going on with my case, and that was priceless.
I can say without reservation that you are in good hands with Cynthia, and highly recommend her.
I was referred to TCNF after having a terrible experience with a different attorney. (I was too sick to realize he was a hack even though I'm a lawyer.) The difference in professionalism, competence, and knowledge of this unique niche of law was immediately apparent. I was pleased with all aspects of how my case was handled, especially the favorable outcome. I am very grateful to have had Scott Sell, Melissa Haggerty, and Holly Szumila on my team.
Attorney Cynthia went beyond and above to effectively handle my case and recovered fair compensation for bodily injury. I am always grateful; thank you for your friendly, compassionate and caring service. Paralegal Kristin you are awesome. I highly recommend this law firm.
,giving you their guidance, insight, vast knowledge and expertise.
I personally worked with Jim Coon (my attorney) and Amanda Ulrich (his legal assistant), both were personable and professional. Also, he was very sensitive to the trauma I had experienced and understanding of the obstacles I faced because of that, Amanda as well.
They worked to come to a settlement agreement that was in my best interest.
I also worked with Scott Sells and his assistant, Erin Daniels, while applying for SSDI and I have nothing but positive things to say about that experience as well.
I highly recommend Thomas, Coon, Newton & Frost.
30 minutes later Chris called and provided me with some assistance in helping me with my claim. Needless to say my settlement is finally moving forward and all with some guidance from him.
I would highly recommend seeking there expertise if the need ever arises.
I would highly suggest that to anyone who is seeking an excellent attorney (potential client or hiring her), Melissa Haggerty should be strongly considered.
On behalf of both me and my husband, we are very grateful for all she did for us.

When I first met her she was impressive with her knowledge of the law and the system. She explained clearly how we would go about my case. It took many months due to the back log of cases to get in front of the Judge. Her assistant Holly helped tremendously all along the way keeping me informed of updates. Finally we have a court date and Melissa gathers all final doctors letters, medical records etc. Melissa had a great memory remembering all the details of my medical conditions and was well prepared going in front of the Judge. She handled herself professionally in front of the Judge and with all the correct preparation, the Judge made a favorable decision on my case right there on the spot!
I highly recommend Melissa Haggerty to any one needing a Social Security attorney and one more shout out to Holly , her assistant.
Thank you so much.........
My lawyer Scott Sell went above and beyond by communicating with my private long term disability provider on my behalf, advocating so that I didn't loose those benefits while my social security case dragged on. He even helped me to collect myself when SS notified me that a second hearing was needed. He answered all my questions and never talked down to me. I felt heard and respected through the whole process.
Filing for Social Security Disability is a complicated and stressful process. Don't let anyone tell you that you can maneuver it by yourself.
I recommend that you make an appointment with this firm sooner than later.
Melissa preemptively knew many of the triggers that I deal with on a daily basis and made accommodations to make both my appointments as well as my court hearing as tolerable for me as possible. She certainly worked above and beyond anything I had expected.
Speaking beyond my personal experience with Melissa, my team of providers were extremely impressed with their interactions with her. One of them made a statement that sums it up nicely - "...where did you find her? I mean really, Haggerty knows what she is doing... AND she is caring while being professional at the same time. I'm definitely going to refer her to my clients."
I feel so lucky to have found this firm - it would be one of the better things I've accomplished lately if my review caused someone to just pick up the phone and call for an appointment.
It is a great pleasure for me to write a review for Melissa Haggerty and her legal assistant Holly Szumila.
I have to say our first meet and greet included warmth, compassion and understanding of my circumstances. My husband and I left feeling we were in good hands. Their support, throughout my Social Security appeal process, has been nothing less than outstanding. My questions were always answered in a timely manner, email and phone comunication throughout this process eased my anxiety. If your tired, hurting and can no longer work, It is well worth your time and money to invest in the team of Melissa Haggerty and Holly Szumila as your legal representative.

permanently blinded in both eyes and suffered other serious injuries as well. Chris Frost helped me to successfully resolve the comp case before I retired. Ray Thomas, Jim Coon, and Cynthia Newton brought the other case to a very successful conclusion after I had retired. Both were difficult cases and in each instance, the lawyers and staff at the firm demonstrated great skill, determination, and heart. I highly recommend the firm to lawyers who are looking to associate with or refer cases to, as well as to anyone who is looking for strong representation in injury related cases.
