I am a 41 year old married father of 6. 2 years ago I was hit by a college student while he was texting and driving. Helped me in the past

I was in his office recently as he was a chosen arbitrator by my attorney. I suffered permanent injury in an MVA. While he and the other 2 arbitrators had plenty of time to ask why none of my family members were present as witnesses during my arbitration, 8 hours to be exact, they failed to do so. My attorney stated they used that against me during their deliberations and penalized me monetarily for it. Since when do family dynamics have anything to do with permanent injuries sustained in an MVA???? Three good friends of mine testified on my behalf. If you don’t have the perfect loving family, you will apparently not get a fair settlement. I wasn’t even awarded enough for continued treatment through the remainder of my life. Not only that, several times when I looked over at Tom during the arbitration, he was leaned back in his chair with his eyes closed as though he was sleeping. I found it to be incredibly rude and disrespectful.
