I posted a review after our divorce was finalized. I realized I was looking through rose colored glasses.
After representation ends, Tricia will tell you to reach out with any questions you may have even if it’s a couple of years down the road, as a seeming act of goodwill. When a question arises, either it goes unanswered or is met with a non-answer and dismissal. For example, recently I asked if exercising my two weeks of summer parenting time at the end of May when my daughter is out of school for the summer was ok. Her response was, “I don’t think May is included in the summer definition.” I asked for clarification: “Even if it is during her summer vacation?” Instead or pointing out what the definition of “summer” is in terms of a parenting plan, I was met with, “If you want to fight with [the ex] over this, that is your choice. I don’t need to be a part of it.”
Don’t look for much help even if they tell you to reach out. It’s all marketing work to keep former clients engaged. If you want a real family lawyer, look elsewhere.

After wasting 5000$ with zero results I fired them to represent myself. Even the judge was shocked and asked me why there were no orders in place yet. I said that I have no idea, that's why I fired them. I won the case and made it further in my first appearance than goldberg did after 5000$. Find basically anyone else if you can't do it yourself.

Chance Fewel represented my brother Todd during his divorce and custody arrangements. He kept Todd on a positive path on what was a very difficult divorce and always watched out for Todd's best interests but more importantly, the best interests of his children. When my brother died unexpectedly, Chance was so compassionate toward our family and went above and beyond to help us navigate a very sad and turbulent time in our lives. I highly recommend Chance. His compassion, professionalism, and excellent representation are a cut above.
My experience with Goldberg Jones Portland was absolutely exceptional! I met with Colin Amos twice. Once in 2015 when my now ex wife filed for divorce. He provided concrete guidance on how to plan my Parenting Plan so I would have my daughter on a 50/50 timeframe. It worked out perfectly for 3 years! I had my daughter on a weekly basis on top of every other weekend. I then met with Colin again late summer of 2018 when my ex wife gave me a 30 day notice that her and her new husband were relocating my daughter 3 hours away from our home. Her relocation proposal attempted to relinquish our set Parenting Plan from 161 plus overnight stays down to a mere 64 days a year! She refused to work with me, would not meet with me, would not budge on any extra days or weekends until Trisha Webb contacted her! Trisha worked with me on strategy, parenting time, educated me on nuances between Oregon State court and Washington State court. (They moved up to the Tacoma area). She was persistent on filing in Oregon as this state values Father's rights more than Washington. She wanted to givegno time to my ex wife to try and move our case to a different state. Trisha also educated me on the differences between counties. She knew all of the judges in Clackamas county and their views on father's rights. She guided me and gave me so much peace and reassurance! She earned and gained my TRUST! You have no idea how much anxiety she cleared from my psyche! She cared and fought for me and my daughter and today, or new Parenting Plan has my daughter living with me during the summer and I have extended parenting time with my daughter. She fought back for my 50/50 parenting time! Thank you Amos! THANK YOU TRISHA! Thank you Goldberg Jones!

I consulted with Jason Heym at Goldberg Jones during my original divorce 8 years ago and he is a classy, experienced and smart attorney. When I recently retained him to defend me in a custody dispute he did a fantastic job of preparing me and giving me very sound legal advice until he was forced to hand off my case to another attorney in the firm to tend to personal matters.
So approximately 3 weeks prior to my final custody hearing I was honestly terrified for myself and my children there was no where to go but down in the skill and experience level of whoever replaced him, until I was introduced to Mr Chance Fewel! Chance was able to pickup my case where Jason left off and somehow get up to speed one 6 months worth of legal matters in about 10 days, all while showing the same kind of engaged professionalism, sound advice and experience I had received from my prior attorney.
Chance Fewel, Jason Heym and this entire firm take what I feel is the best possible path to defend or represent your goals or family law issues by advising you of the law while teaching the value of representing you in a non-combative manner.
This firm, Jason and Chance in particular are a first class operation and really good character people that take a financially reasonable, sincere interest in serving fathers & husbands family law needs in a way that will help you make decisions to keep you out of court and legal arguments in the future. I can't thank you enough, Chance and Jason!
If you're a dad or a husband facing a divorce or custody battle, make an appointment to consult with Chance Fewel to figure out where you stand.

Guys, Divorce is not cheap. It's expensive. It can often be even more so for men. If you're looking for a cheap attorney, then Goldberg Jones is not for you. But, if you want a law firm that specializes in protecting men during a divorce, then Goldberg-Jones IS for you. My attorney was Chance Fewel. The first thing he did was to focus on getting the divorce to take place in the correct state, which probably saved me from paying double for twice as long in spousal support. He kept me informed the whole time, including when it made sense to fight something and when made sense to just deal with it. However, he always stood behind me when I was insistent on something. I never had to appear in court, and was able to sign documents without having to go downtown and miss work. (That may be more common now than in the past, but it still made the ordeal far less stressful.) Decisions were always mine to make, but he always presented both sides and what might most likely happen, and always kept me informed.
Like I said, this is a not cheap law firm, but if you need a law firm that will make sure that you as a man are protected and stood up for in court, then Goldberg Jones and Chance Fewel is an excellent choice.

Came in with my fiancee just to seek some advice on how to approach a very unnecessary matter we had been forced into. He has a beautiful son that we both love dearly and just want the best for him. Unfortunately, in Clark County, it is made very difficult for men, no matter how good of a father you are, to get what you and the kid deserve. Chance is a gem! We had been so stressed out over what turned out to be literally nothing. He was so reassuring and such a breath of fresh air. We had a lawyer before who cost us a fortune and obviously did not get us where we needed to be...Or else I would not be here now writing this review! Chance was honest, listened very intently, and gave my fiancee confidence to get what he and my step son deserve. We will come to him in the future for sure because unfortunately we know we will have to because of unsettled immature bitterness. He is the perfect representative for fathers out there who really do care, and want equality with/for their kid(s) for all of the right reasons who truly do have the best interest of their child(ren) at heart! Thanks C.F.!! ; )

Steve O'Hagan was the attorney representing me in my divorce case. I have to say that my divorce was unforseen in my opinion, and I was absolutely crushed spiritually, financially, and physically when my separation/divorce began. I was significantly afraid of the divorce process initially, as most people probably are, regarding many aspects of my case considering the relatively uncommon nature of some of the road blocks that we encountered along the way. Mr. O'Hagan gave me/my family such a wonderful feeling of comfort and satisfaction throughout the entire process. In fact, I would say that I barely ever had to be involved other than a few phone conversations and detail disclosure, etc, otherwise, Mr O'Hagan did EVERYTHING! As painful as a divorce can be...this was as painless as it gets. I work a lot and have very little time to deal with things like a divorce, but Mr. O'Hagan's expertise, diligence, and compassion really made my divorce a somewhat pleasurable experience, though I know how weird that sounds. His professionalism is without reproach and I would recommend him to anyone for representation. Thank you again, Steve, for everything!

From the beginning of my divorce, everything was really overwhelming. Patrick really cleared a lot of things up and made me feel at ease. Being active duty military during this time made things a lot more difficult, I was in California when this started, then on deployment, then in Washington state. The entire time Patrick was able to take care of every thing in Oregon and he was never difficult to get in touch with! He with out a doubt went above and beyond with his services and was able to give me advise and answer all of my questions and concerns every step of the way!

This is a long overdue review, as our legal representation in our modification of custody for our daughter was outstanding. Our attorney at the Portland office, Donato, was always available for us, and helped us keep our sanity through one of the most stressful periods of our lives. Our case was crazy, and the defendant was crazy and extremely difficult. He worked his tail off and thought of and used every legal tool at our disposal to keep our daughter safe and get her more time with us and out of her very unhealthy previous situation. My wife and I will forever be grateful for what Donato did for our daughter, our whole family thanks you. And the firm Goldberg Jones was also great throught the process. I highly recommend Donato Masaoy at Goldberg Jones for your family law representation needs.

There is something to be said about having the top dogs in a fight. Goldberg and Jones are it. They are efficient and VERY thorough! They have that intimidation factor that is so important to outside threats. Brad Gerke wont put up with anything and doesn't waist time with nonsense from opposing councel. They might cost a bit more but they charge fairly. No surprises.
If you do what Brad and his colleagues say, you will get the best outcome possible, thats all there is to it. I'm a father and I got all my kids legally and they are safe because of Brad Gerke. Go with Goldberg and Jones. Don't waist time or money with the other guys.

Chance Fewel was my attorney through my first devoice with two small children. I had no idea what to expect or direction to take. Chance was there to answer every question I had. He immediately emailed or took my call whenever I was confused and needed advice. In contrast my wife’s attorney would not return her calls in a timely manner. As a result, Chance and I lead the devoice with our figures and demands.
Chance gave me clear well explained financial numbers to prepare to discuss with my wife. He also gave me honest real-world estimates if we were to drag on in court. In the end I felt like I had a real ally in my corner and I was prepared for the fight. Chance also gave me great advice on what is reasonable for custody and what looked out of place with my wife’s proposals.
Luckily, we did not have to go to battle. I believe this is a direct result of the ironclad financial numbers Chance prepared. This led me to be informed and I could then negotiate with confidence. I would highly recommend Goldberg Jones, and Chance Fewel.

Goldberg Jones is a great Firm! When it comes to lawyers representing you, you pay what you get. I had a child custody issue with my daughters crazy mom. I missed several times that I was scheduled to have her. I was at the end of my rope emotionally and physically. I couldn’t fight anymore. Something had to happen legally.
I did my research on a firm that can represent me and help bring my daughter back into my life. I met up with Colin and explain my situation. He told me that GB Jones was experts in this area. I was teamed up with Victoria Haines (Tori). Tori did a fabulous job of representing me and fighting when I couldn’t fight anymore. If you need any legal advice or someone to go to bat for you in court Goldberg Jones is the place. They are professional from start to finish.

My attorney was Liam McGill. I contacted the firm and was assigned to him to modify my child support amount. I felt it was way to high and he agreed. SO, Liam had to perform the standard calculations. Long story short, he got it reduced to ZERO. Ya $0.00. Also the whole process was fast. Moving quickly saved me a ton of money. My only regret was not going with Liam and the Goldberg Jones firm when I first got divorced. I am sure things would have been much different. I however, going forward with highly recommend them to anyone I know that needs OUTSTANDING service. Thank you Liam for your great attention to detail, quick replies and follow up. You got my vote.

My kids and wife (at the time) live in Oregon. I live in a different state and contacted Goldberg Jones so I could have custody rights as a divorced father. There's a long backstory, but it was not a good situation/separation. I let my wife know that I was working on hiring a lawyer there. (Unfortunately for me, because they were there, I could not hire an attorney in my area so phone call/email was the best I could do financially at the time.)
She went in, in person, and spoke to a separate attorney at the firm. She contacted me and said they'd worked it out and we could "share" an attorney to get it done affordably and quickly. I have friends who have done something along these lines, and being somewhat cash strapped, ignorant regarding these situations, and at my wit's end, I thought it was a sound method to get this situation resolved.
After some minor negotiating regarding a ridiculous child support amount, I got it down to a more reasonable amount and went ahead and bought in. I should've seen the large, original child support sum as a sign that we were not, in fact, "sharing" an attorney but she was getting represented and I was not.
Lo and behold, now, my ex is moving across the country (after roughly 6 months of divorce). After speaking to a local attorney, I had to learn the hard way that I essentially got fleeced. We were never sharing anything, and it's going to be difficult for me to have a case after the original divorce.
Now, I'm in a situation where I am in an objectively more stable situation, surrounded by family, solid job, purchasing a home, and my ex is taking my kids to live with her boyfriend in a strange city where my kids have zero other family/support besides their mother. What stings the most is now, she has the upper hand in the situation because of the results of the divorce, where I thought we were essentially equals, minus custody in which I am the summer/Christmas dad.
I am not a negative reviewer in general, but I do feel this is my only means of warning others. Do not let them let you think they are actually concerned about "Men/fathers". In my case it was actually the opposite, and obviously they have good reviews so I may have been a unique case, but please shop around. Best of luck.

Michael Riedel was excellent as my divorce lawyer. Michael was upfront and honest about the process. He set realistic time frames while keeping me informed and on track to keep things moving forward. For me it appeared that there are 3 things you deal with in a divorce; your thoughts and expectations at the beginning, the laws set down by the state, and what your lawyer is capable of doing for you. Michael Riedel is smart and highly capable. He let me know right away what expectations didnt match up with the law and presented options I hadn't even considered. This was a heart breaking process for me as my ex wife suffers from mental health issues. Michael was compassionate and always had my best interest in mind and I feel I was very well represented.

As a rule, I tend to dislike Lawyers. It's been my experience that just about every one of them was in the business to make a buck, not a difference. Chance is changing my opinion, one lawyer at a time. When he answered my phone call a few weeks back, he quickly took stock of the situation and provided exactly the level of legal advice I needed. He did so in a manor that was at my knowledge level, and we were able to establish a basic plan in that conversation. I followed that plan and his advice. (Edit: That's a very important part.. if you seek the advice, use it..) Today, I walked out of Chance's office with a plan that legally protects the rights and safety of my children, and allows them the best opportunity to have a relationship with the other parent. If you are in need of a lawyer, and reading these reviews wondering if this is the team you need to call, I can attest that it is. I hope to never need to talk to them again, but if I find myself in need of further advice, I will be reaching out to Chance again, straight away.

I believe attorneys can be qualified as great because they have superior knowledge, not only of the law, but also how to strategically apply it to each and every case. I also believe a powerful, element or characteristic found in a gifted, excellent attorney, is one who truly cares about the needs as well as the outcome for the client he or she is representing. It is that concern for all the case details and going the extra mile that sets them apart.
Jason Heym is that attorney who is exceptional and who cares. He is willing to work hard and does what it takes, which is doing what is best for his client. Beside the important fact that Jason is without a doubt an excellent, highly intelligent attorney, he is exceptionally knowledgeable in finances. Another important, but compelling characteristic or quality is that he is an attorney with heart.
Jason is that attorney willing to go the extra mile because he cares and because he understands that he is there to represent you and take you to that next level in your life. His ability as an attorney is nothing sort of amazing.
If it had not been for his amazing remarkable effort, I would not have survived my divorce well, or would not have been able to move on to create a new acceptable chapter in my life. Jason was the one that opened that door for me and I will always be grateful to him.

If I had to describe Jason Heym in one word I would say “awesome” Jason was very attentive and perceptive to the issues involving my case. Included with his experience in law and divorce, he also has a degree in finance, which I believe gave him an understanding and an edge in the case.
He is not only a very intelligent and experienced attorney but he also has a deep concern and dedication to get the best outcome possible for me his client. He is truly an attorney who is willing to fight for you every inch of the way to make sure you not only get what is fair but is always thinking of the outcome and how it would effect me in the years to come.
His knowledge and understanding on how retirement, 401k and other investments played into the case was impressive and he was able to pull all of this together in order to come out with the best possible settlement for me as his client.
Jason worked hard for me, but I also found out towards the beginning that he had a good record and reputation as a great negotiator. An attorney from outside the firm who had dealt with Jason and the Goldberg Jones firm, had only high compliments for his abilities in and out of court as a negotiator, as well as great compliments about Goldberg Jones.
Jason kept me informed of the developments on a regular bases and made sure I always understood what was happening in the case. He even stepped in to help with a real estate agent who had dropped the ball. Sending a letter on my behalf helped correct a situation that resulted in the ability to finalize the sale of the house in question.
Jason has not only done an outstanding job in representing me and getting the best settlement possible, he was also a great support at a time when all seemed to be falling apart in my life. He was always there with words of encouragement for me.
--- One Year Later ---
Jason you are certainly one of my hero's!!
Now I find myself a year later and I can look back as I see how you helped me change my life when I did not believe it could happen. I literally thought I would be cleaned out by my ex and left with nothing because I felt she had the upper hand and the meanness to make it happen! But you changed all of that and you went the extra step and extra mile all the way for me and I will always be grateful!
Even though saying thanks does not seem sufficient, hopefully my words plus a life you have helped to change will make it easier on those days you mentioned as being hard to deal with!!
I saw and bought a plaque that reinforced those changes in my life and it reads: “No matter what has gone before in your life, it is never too late to live a happily ever after”. Jason you have set me on that track and helped to make my life better!
Hang in there and thanks again for what you accomplished!!

I initially considered Jason Heym for my divorce and unfortunately a friend highly recommended someone else. I took that friend's advice, it is one of the biggest mistakes of my life. After spending nearly $50,000 on my divorce I was still entangled with an alimony agreement that came back to haunt me within two years of my divorce being finalized. When my ex-wife lost her job and requested an alimony adjustment I definitely knew who I was hiring: Jason Heym. He was upfront with me on every issue, returned phone calls and emails promptly, gave me great advice, kept me aware of monthly billing charges (so there were no surprises like my first lawyer)... These plus many other reasons make me now regret not initially hiring Jason Heym. One other friend has used Jason and was also extremely satisfied. I hope you never need a divorce attorney, but if you do need one you should definitely hire Jason Heym and save yourself all the stress my first attorney caused me.

I had used Goldberg Jones back in 2002 when I first got divorced with great results. I recently went back due to my ex-wife hiring an attorney and asking for revisions to our agreement. I was given Brad Gerke as an attorney. Brad did a fantastic job for me. I would highly recommend his services. Brad had all the right answers on handling my situation, and it all turned out even better than I had hoped for.

Tricia was excellent in protecting my rights. Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny in the long run. I would recommend 100% for any father dealing with an extremely difficult and conniving ex-partner/ex-partner's family.

My attorney Patrick Lowney did a great job - process went smoothly and we really didn't have any issues. Was done timely and things proceeded without having to correct or backtrack on anything significant. Very respectful to my former wife...she felt comfortable in her brief interactions with staff. Things were made easy for me/us to complete. Reasonable cost too, very reasonable, considering our time consulting. I've had experience with lawyers before as a physician so know "time " can be money ha ha .. Colin also was great in general inquiry and counseling phase before the process began.

Mike presented options along the way so I could make informed decisions and execute on what would bring about desired outcomes. He is a very personable guy who will truly advocate for you. Highly recommend Mike for father's rights / divorce / custody issues.

My experience with Goldberg Jones is that they were very thorough and professional. I had used another firm for the original decree and was not convinced it was protecting me as much as it should. I went to Goldberg Jones and they sorted through the decree. They gave me a plan of what needed to be done to rectify my decree. The changes made helped me to support my kid’s needs and to protect my rights. They were great in making the necessary changes and helping me through the process 100%. I strongly recommend they be your first choice when going through a divorce.

I was going to try to do the DIY divorce. So glad I went with Goldberg Jones. Although it was a long process, mainly because of the ex, I'm very satisfied with the results. I worked with Liam McGill and couldn't be happier. He's your go to guy when you have to deal with divorce when you live in separate states. Oregon and Washington. He took care of everything and I didn't even have to set one foot inside of a court room. He and his firm really looked out for me and I couldn't be more grateful.

I was lost, swirling around me was a fight I was not accustom to fighting, I had faithfully served my country for 8 years in the United States Marines, I have been on 3 different deployments and I was ill-equipped to fight the fight in front of me. My son came back and told me that my ex-wife’s boyfriend was abusing him but not bad enough to leave marks.

Jason is an admirable attorney who accepted my challenging case. From the beginning, Jason provided sound, realistic advise with very clear and direct goals. He was accessible and very responsive when I had questions via phone or email. He kept me up to date on discussions with the other counsel. Throughout the process Jason advocated for me with unwavering dedication and remained firm under pressure. In addition to Jason’s obvious knowledge of family law and finances, he is very personable, listening during every conversation, and easy to talk to. I had an opportunity to work with Patrick Lowney, and overall I was satisfied with his performance in terms of representing my case with opposing counsel, his follow-through, knowledge and ability to remain flexible and ensure that my interests were cared for. We had a significantly difficult case, both with the opposing party and the logistics of scheduling a hearing (and actually keeping one - I believe we had to reschedule 6 times in total - so much for frugality), despite motions for discovery, compel, dismiss, depositions and modifications for child and spousal support and parenting time.
Patrick is an intelligent, diligent and effective communicator that does actually care about his client, and that was shown to me on numerous occasions. I appreciate that he was willing to stand by my throughout the duration of the case, as the original motion and affidavit were filed in November of 2015. If you're looking for counsel that will assist in a difficult case and give you the best and worst case scenarios, Patrick can provide that support. In my case, there was simply a TON of sticking points, exceptions and "it depends" factors, so I appreciated Patrick's willingness to explain those to me in layman's terms and essentially "teach" me along the way as well. He was handed a tough one with me sure for, so thank you, Patrick!

I put my trust in Jason Heym, and he didn't disappoint me at all! My parenting time/child support modification case was routine in some ways, but very tricky to navigate due to difficulties with my ex. Jason leveraged his extensive experience and professional relationships to devise a strategy that would achieve the best outcome with minimum risk. His advice saved me from making several potentially costly mistakes.
Jason was also very sensitive my legal costs, and never recommended a course of action that would benefit him financially at the expense of the quality of his service to me. Very refreshing to work with an attorney who truly had my overall best interests at heart every step of the way :)
Jason helped resolve my case very quickly, without ever having to go to court. The settlement was better than I expected; When issues came up from my ex about the amount of support she would have to pay, Jason was able to work out a very creative and beneficial solution with her attorney.
I would recommend Goldberg Jones, and Jason Heym in particular, to anyone without hesitation. If I ever need this kind of support again, he's the first person I'll call!

My experience with Goldberg-Jones and specifically, my attorney there, Liam McGill, has been fantastic. Litigation became necessary in my custody case and Liam not only provided me with top-notch representation in and out of court, but he (and Collin and Chris) set my mind at ease during an especially tense and high-stakes situation, reassuring me that I would once again be reunited with my children. They were right, and now, because Liam kept me focused on tasks at hand and not getting caught up in the emotional turmoil, I have my kids back in my life, and me in theirs. I do not hesitate for one moment giving Goldberg-Jones my highest recommendation.

Jason Heym is a lifesaver. He helped me uncover a $50,000 asset that wasn't disclosed by my ex or her attorney. His thorough, aggressive, no-nonsense approach led to an efficient, fair conclusion to the otherwise unpleasant experience of divorce.
I found Jason to be flexible and willing to do things my way. At the same time, he never hesitated to tell me when he thought I was wrong, which I appreciated. Jason consistently provided advice and counsel when I needed it, and was always prompt to respond to my questions. Jason also took the time to break down complicated legal topics in plain English, which I appreciated.

My husband and I have had continual consultation with Goldberg Jones over the past few years and have always had an extremely consistent and good experience. They have always offered very clear and straight forward advice and guidance. Our goal is to keep as much peace between ourself and my husbands ex-wife as possible and Goldberg Jones have always respected that and given us very fair advice and they have been amazing with giving us accurate information that has never left us mislead or confused. Everytime we have called whether it is just with a question or to schedule a consultation there is someone either available immediately or we get a call back within the hour. Another thing we love is that if we do have a question we can call in and have it answered over the phone. Yes there are times a sit down consult is required but as their client their main goal is to help you and not sucker $$ from you. We would definitely recommend them.

I was looking for an attorney that could handle a complex case of child custody that involved moving my court case from a different state to the state of Oregon while attempting to gain more parenting time with my children. I have been to court several times, and I knew that I needed a law firm and an attorney that was experienced in representing the father in what could quite possibly turn into a full court hearing complete with litigation.
I contacted Goldberg Jones, and after the first meeting I was convinced that I had found the right place. The consultation was free, and they laid out in detail what would be involved if indeed we went all the way through a full custody hearing. Expectations were set up front, and there were no surprises along the way. My attorney, Michael Riedel, was and is the best attorney I have worked with; he was extremely calm and confident and always supplied good advice that I could use to make the right decisions.
I ended up with a good parenting time schedule that works well for my children, and couldn't have asked for a better outcome. We didn't end up having to go all the way through a full custody hearing!
Thanks Goldberg Jones and specifically Mike Riedel!

I would definitely recommend Goldberg Jones to future potential clients.

A Father who was heard,

Divorce is not cheap.
(That may be more common now than in the past, but it still made the ordeal far less stressful.)
Decisions were always mine to make, but he always presented both sides and what might most likely happen, and always kept me informed.
Like I said, this is a not cheap law firm, but if you need a law firm that will make sure that you as a man are protected and stood up for in court,
then Goldberg Jones and Chance Fewel is an excellent choice.
Every time I had a question I felt heard and understood.
I’ve learned a lot through this process and looking back at how unsure of what I was getting into, I’m glad that taking the first step with them was my choice, genuinely the best choice I’ve made in all of my custody uncertainty. 10/10 tell my divorcing buddy’s or guys with custody fights to call.
Thanks for reading
I did my research on a firm that can represent me and help bring my daughter back into my life. I met up with Colin and explain my situation. He told me that GB Jones was experts in this area. I was teamed up with Victoria Haines (Tori). Tori did a fabulous job of representing me and fighting when I couldn’t fight anymore. If you need any legal advice or someone to go to bat for you in court Goldberg Jones is the place. They are professional from start to finish.
Doug
When he answered my phone call a few weeks back, he quickly took stock of the situation and provided exactly the level of legal advice I needed. He did so in a manor that was at my knowledge level, and we were able to establish a basic plan in that conversation. I followed that plan and his advice. (Edit: That's a very important part.. if you seek the advice, use it..)
Today, I walked out of Chance's office with a plan that legally protects the rights and safety of my children, and allows them the best opportunity to have a relationship with the other parent.
If you are in need of a lawyer, and reading these reviews wondering if this is the team you need to call, I can attest that it is. I hope to never need to talk to them again, but if I find myself in need of further advice, I will be reaching out to Chance again, straight away.
Patrick is a stand-up guy and really made me feel comfortable with a process that is heavily stigmatized and full of social conditioning... to the point, where I felt ashamed or nervous at first for reaching out for help. They, especially Patrick blew all of those preconceived notions out-of-the-water. Highly recommend him.
Thanks Patrick!

Glad it's over, but glad I had these guys to help me along.
Jason was very attentive and perceptive to the issues involving my case.

Jason consistently provided advice and counsel when I needed it, and was always prompt to respond to my questions. Jason also took the time to break down complicated legal topics in plain English, which I appreciated.
I would recommend him without hesitation to my closest friends and family. If you want an aggressive, but reasonable, down-to-earth attorney who delivers results, hire Jason Heym.
Chance helped me through a difficult divorce from a crazy woman.
He and all the staff at Goldberg Jones are very professional.
My experience with this firm was very positive.
Thanks Chance,
Hope I don't need to hire you again.
