I thought I had a free lawyer in the traverse City area. Chris camebell had me send copies of my court papers to him. All he did was mailing me a letter and said to me that he doesn't think I will be able to win my case so he is not going to help me. So January 27 I have to go to court and try to win my case by myself. I would not recommend anyone to use the traverse City free legal services they are a waste of time.

My attorney was Mr. Campbell. He did an amazing job and helped me to feel comfortable and confident in an awful situation. Would highly recommend.

I understand that people are busy but if you arent going to take a case you should say something before hand. As a secretary it is your job to pass along messages even if it means telling a potential client that you cant take their case instead of making them wait. People get frustrated when you continue to tell them the same thing constantly with nothing to show. I put in a lot of time hopefully thinking my case may have been accepted to only receive the same answers over and over. My family (me, my significant other, and 18 month old son) are about to go homeless because a simple phone call couldnt have been made or a simple "we cant guarantee" or "we have a full case load" couldnt have been said.
