I'm not a client of Atkinson Law Office. I'm on the other side, representing the insurance company. But I want potential clients to know how smart and dedicated the team at Atkinson Law Office is. They work diligently to get their clients everything they have coming. I work with a lot of other work comp attorneys. Many just settle quickly and for less than the claim may be worth. Had a workers comp claim and an wrongful termination lawsuit! Was told by Tom that both of my cases were worth a couple thousand but that he didn’t “think” I’d get it. He ends up low balling in the settlement meeting. Smh
Now I’m being hit up by Unemployment, claiming I owe for working while collecting Unemployment, but that’s not true. I call him because my settlement states that the defense has to take care of overpayments and now I’m being told this is a separate issue.
I was reassured by his office that I was not responsible for any overpayments and that I didn’t have to worry about responding to any mail or calls. Now I’m being told that it’s my problem and there’s nothing they can do! Smh

The worst! They make mistakes and then blamed on the client. They cost me my work comp pay by not keeping me in the loop. Now on phantom emails they rest there case and make themselves feel and look better, when in fact they send emails the day of and stand behind there mistakes with a simple “we sent a email” if you didn’t get it that’s your problem. Was told to get my computer fixed by Tom Atkinson. That’s his response for him and his team not doing there job. Then they also say your a rude person. Please don’t take a chance on this law firm. Don’t let them put you over like they did me.
