I retained Ryan's firm before I was arrested. I gave him money as a retainer. As soon as I was arrested two days later, he demanded a LARGE sum of money. As a parent my worse nightmare came true my 19 year old son was facing serious prison time- I did my research for reputable criminal attorney and found Ryan . This is officially the first review I've delivered any service provider. After the experience I've had working with Ryan and Elizabeth, it would be wrong of me not to take the time to compose this review. The work these folks do is second to none. They are true technicians within the legal realm. They understand 'the system'. Above and beyond that however, they care. Were there more stars available for this review, I would be sure to deliver each and every one of them....and without hesitation. They are well deserved.

Some background: one of my family members is a police officer. When I found myself in a troubling situation with the law, I immediately went to her asking for advice on an attorney. Ryan and Elizabeth were recommended not only by her, but too, by a number of people on the Force. As it turns out, it was for good reason.

Going into my case, my sister explained that the nature of my charges were going to make this a difficult case to 'win'. In fact, it was hard. Ryan and Elizabeth were there every step of the way. And they were responsive every hour of the day. And, in an industry ripe with 'frauds', they proved to be the real deal - true technicians.

Ryan was up front with me when we first met that this case wasn't going to be an easy one. After a grueling and stressful number of months, Ryan and Elizabeth were able to get my case dismissed. They were creative in their approach; and they didn't ever stop.

Recently, I wanted to get the case expunged. Doing so should not have proven to be difficult given the 'continuance for dismissal' ruling I was delivered. Turns out, it was hard indeed. Due to the nature of my charges, we met some resistance within the system. After an initial declination of our request, we revisited it. And for what it's worth, taking a second stab at this wasn't ever a debate. Elizabeth just jumped back in upon receiving the declination. Just yesterday, I received a notification that the expungement request had been officially granted. The records are sealed. Ryan and Elizabeth beat the odds. They lived up to the hype.

Again - there are not enough stars available to adequately frame up my satisfaction and appreciation with these two individuals. If you're in need, you're in need - go meet with them.

*Also, as someone that reads reviews and gets regularly skeptical about those that are overly complementary, I want to make it clear that I don't know these two people. I had no history with them before this case. And outside of our business dealings, I don't maintain a relationship. I am merely a satisfied consumer of their services. I wouldn't hesitate in referring them (and have in fact done so twice now) to friends and/or family.

There is no review I could write that could fully reflect the amazing experience that I had with Ryan Garry and his firm. Five stars is not enough.
I found myself in a situation that I had never imagined I would be in due to a poor decision. I received a DUI and was in shock by the reality of it, and had no mind on how to navigate the legal matters ahead of me. I was referred to Ryan Garry's firm through a family friend, as I had no clue about anything related to lawyers or being in the "system".
Ryan Garry met me with personally, despite his busy schedule. I was mentally and physically distraught, worried about the possible outcomes, the implications to my family and career, and the overwhelming fear of this foreign process.
That initial meeting with Ryan was the first exhale I was able to take. He not only explained the next steps, possible outcomes, options for approach, but he conveyed a calming presence and understanding for my situation that I needed more than I knew.
From there, the experience was just as amazing, exceeding my high expectations each step of the way.
The details of my charge were the worst. My BAC was over double the limit and I had been charged in a county with the strictest laws.
I was guided to be proactive in my steps to show that this was a mistake and not representative of my character. I followed the steps they suggested, including attending a panel discussion and a class as well as receiving an assessment on my overall relationship with alcohol. All of those helped alleviate the severity of my conviction, and were things I would have never known to do before my actual plea.
I had the pleasure of being represented by Elizabeth Duel, who went above and beyond. She made the long drives in the winter to my hearings, was always there before me, despite how early I showed up, was always fully prepared and answered all of my questions. She helped me feel calm in the courtroom, a place that gave me a lot of anxiety and reminded me of my horrible mistake.
Elizabeth not only made me feel secure in person, but also responded to all my questions, very promptly, despite how mundane or trivial they were.

I don't know where I would be or how I would have bounced back if I didn't have the privilege to be represented by Ryan Garry.
The process was a long one for me, particularly, and in hindsight, I am able to appreciate even more, the large and exceedingly spectacular role that Ryan and Elizabeth played.
I was able to use this mistake as a lesson for myself, and be a better all-around person, and I attribute a lot of my ability to do that, to them.
