Shelly West!!!! Man what can I say. Shelly and her team of Delayne and Erminia ( I’m pretty sure I spelled her name wrong) are what I call the dream team. From the very moment of consultation to the final court decision I was treated as family. They frequently updated me on what was going on with the case and constantly put my mind at ease. Shelly was more than my attorney. She was a shoulder to lean on and was always pleasant. She made this terrible experience into one that I can look back on and smile. I have nothing but positive things to say about Shelly West. If you hear anyone are read anywhere that Shelly is not one of the best family lawyers in DFW then you have been lied to. This woman is WORTH IT!!!!

Court appointed attorney's (Shelly West's) fraud, misconduct, and negligence had absolutely nothing to do with her client's (my mom's) interests in a guardianship matter. However, she swindled the ward's estate $9750 for co-conspiring with Lori Leu to rig the crooked system against her client, her interests and her estate. Ms. West was given every opportunity to settle-up, but failed to do so. Since Shelly West deprived the ward legal representation, judge Copeland appointed my mother a new attorney. Be very suspicious of 5 star fake reviews. Don't walk away from this Aggie scammer. Run! I will not rest until the law offices of Shelly West and Lori Leu are shut down and prosecuted to the fullest extent for the law.

The guardianship of a disabled family member became even more difficult when my original attorney passed away suddenly. Ms. West was highly recommended to me and I have been very pleased with her help in this matter. A friend recommended Shelly West to me a few years ago when I was beginning what turned out to be a 2 year custody case. The whole court process can be expensive BUT Shelly taught me how to pick out what information was important or not, suggested ways that I could do things myself as well as informing me on realistic odds of things and where money may not be best spent allowing me to make decisions as far as best bang for my buck. Her and her staff are amazing and were always there to help in a timely matter. There are many variables in these situations and there is no way to predict 100% of the time what judges will do but I have told her and her staff many times that even when things didn't go my way I know that Shelly West and her whole staff had my son's best interest at heart the whole time... and that was the most important thing to me.

Shelly West and her law office helped me through a difficult and complicated family court case. On taking over the case, she accomplished a few items incredibly quickly that my previous attorney had failed. I appreciate her diligence, thoroughness, and sensitivity throughout the process. She exhibited appropriate compassion, consideration and humor throughout and is a complete professional. She has the best interests of both clients and children in mind and does not look at the process as a zero sum game.
