As a new entrepreneur, I need all the help I can get in today's complex word. Steve took the time to explain how intellectual property laws are constantly changing. He described his past experience with a similar product in the same general field (yet totally different than mine) and the potential pitfalls I might face. Avoid at all costs. He is a paper pusher and nothing more. His role in "helping" us with our trademark and copyright apps was only to charge us for the grunt work. There was literally no guidance. We could have paid a temp to get 100% rejection. Steven's only incentive is to get rejected so he can charge you double for the response. He provided no warning that our original fees would double and possibly triple in cost.

The moment we asked for a forecast of possible fees that lie ahead, he resigned. After we asked him for clarification on why he was so upset and to just provide us documentation of where we stood, he waffled but then committed to the request. When we didn't receive the documentation and asked again is when we received a second resignation letter. Both resignations contained very emotional responses to nothing more than a request for accountability. I'm appalled at the lack of professionalism.

If you want someone who is going to open every call with his life story and resume, make excuse after excuse about his availability, and insist on only calling on weekends and all hours of the night, then Steven Thrasher of Thrash Law is your guy.

Make sure you talk to his references before hiring Steven. Even the ones he boasts in his personal resume no longer recommend him. Shame on us for not doing our due diligence.
