I received incorrect information regarding my case in reagrds to the amount was awarded, per their office petsonnel. I tried numerous times to get in contact with someone, left countless messages and nobody ever returned my call. Before the money was awarded, I would get a call back. That all changed when they received the money and kept more than what they should of. Horrible professionalism!

Mac Law has been super patient, helpful and honest throughout the whole process. I honestly wasn’t sure what the outcome would be, because I’ve never had to deal with any type of personal injury or case of this nature. I was a bit nervous and didn’t think the insurance company would be held accountable. I did not want to have to stress about anything other than recovering from my accident, and allowing Cagney and team to take on my case was the best decision I could make to allow that to happen. I pray I, nor any of my family, are in another accident; however, if we are we will be calling McCormick law back into action, cause I know I won't have to worry about anything other than recovering.

I was in an accident in January 2019 and went to McCormick law firm for help with the lawsuit. They were great from the start! They setup appointments to get my back in better shape. They were always transparent through the legal process too. A great and professional group!

While they were kind and sincere when working with them on the phone, they were not good at explaining or rather, be forthcoming with what the insurance company needed from you in order to move forward. I was in a state of depression and overwhelmed and in severe pain and didn’t know what to do next. (A big black truck hit me from behind and totaled my car because he fell asleep at the wheel) And So they would only answer my questions, but not explain the process. That is, if you don’t know the questions to ask, they don’t give you the information. This caused it to drag on and on and on much longer than necessary. And I repeatedly asked for this once I realized what was going wrong, but it didn’t help. So if you use them, make sure you stay on them and ask what the insurance company requires you to do next! And possibly find someone who has been through your type of circumstance and has worked with a lawyer who can also shed light on how it’s done. There was only one who I can give credit to who was wonderful at this, I’m just not sure I remember her name. She’ll know who she is. The rest, although very polite, just acted like they wanted to get you off the phone because they had so much work to do. I expected better from the law firm because of their reputation. It’s also next to impossible to talk to Robert Jenkins himself because he’s out of town a lot or unavailable. Also, The other driver had better than the minimum insurance and yet, the doctors they use will just mark up your procedures even higher so everybody can keep a higher cut of your money! Next time, I will do it myself. Also call your own insurance company because they can help with the medical issue without anything out of your pocket. possibly more. Keep asking insurance companies what they require to settle!!! And if your medical issues are not helped, (as was mine) don’t settle for anything less than the maximum, so you can proceed in a manner you feel necessary, that the insurance companies don’t agree with, in order to address your medical issues!!!! Basically all I needed was injections and a paper signed from my doctor that said I would require surgery. That would have gotten me the maximum, and I wouldn’t have to fork out a third to the lawyer. Lastly, find your own doctors who the insurance approves, and agree on a price!! They are negotiable!!!! That’s how the lawyers do it. Sorry Robert Jenkins. The stars are for all of you who were at least polite. Please instruct your staff to be more forthcoming in what we’re supposed to do next. That’s why we call you!

Response to your note: I absolutely worked with Mac Law, McCormick law firm. I apologize for the mixup with Robert Jenkins’s name. You’re right. But I did work with McCormick Law Firm. Robert is another lawyer I’ve worked with recently, so he was fresh on my mind. He was hired by Midland funding who claimed I had unpaid credit card bills. Research online will tell you there is a lawsuit against them in Dallas Texas for this Massive fraud, including other states that go back years. My bad on mixing up lawyers. The world is full of scams now! It’s sad! The case was dropped by the way, as a result too. And yes, it was Ana!!! She’s amazing! Give her a raise! And have her train the other staff! I am giving a review for Mac Law, (Have documentation) because I got a TEXT from him to do a review. They just answered my questions. They are trained in law and the reason WHY we call them. I was in a bad car wreck and was almost left with thousands in damages and doctor bills. Mac law helped hold the insurance company accountable for the damage their client caused. I am truly great full for the assistance they provided me with my case.

Well what can I honestly say about this law firm. It was a mistake hiring them for my case! Cagney the owner was very aggressive at first saying I had a great case. I was happy until he passed my case unto his no good collegue Bryce Pearcy.

Bryce is a very sarcastic don't give a darn person. I had first sympathized with him because he had an accident just before I did. I'm a Christian person and a nurse so I cared. However, he totally dismissed me when I would text many times he won't text back. I emailed he won't return answers and phone calls were just a waste. He was rarely available during the eight months with them.

Then he turned me over to Anna an excuse maker. She covered well I guess it how she keeps her job.
After all I ended up back to Cagney. I must say he's good at explaining the details of your case. Not a bad guy but I guess he has his moments. However, he made me a promise/ offer and later handed my case off to Persia another of his attorneys who then changed what he told me about my settlement.

Persia came in after I spoke with Nicholas (an intern) a nice guy who seems to have a future. Nicholas had said my case was about $90,000 confirming Cagney's previous offer. Nicholas had told me I had about $60,000 in debts but they will have the bills adjusted. I had actually trusted him.

Persia later called she changed all the numbers. She said I had $85,000 in debt until she works things out. She also mentioned my settlement was only $60,000. Now I thought she was great reliable and fair at first. She kept calling me and updating me daily. However that soon changed because of a small misunderstanding. She became anxious and rude. She deducted money that were previously promised to me from the very small sum I'd received. Note all 8 months I have never met but one lawyer. (Bryce) then she rudely told me to pick up the small check at the front desk at their office in Irving.

I ascertain from this experience I should have looked into a better law firm before rushing in. With Cagney's promises I took him and they were only the second firm I had called.

Fact is I have lost everything from this accident. I was on my way to my new job I had for only a month. Then with the accident they thought my neck was broken. I acquired so many bills fixing myself.
In the meantime I lived out in the country side where there are no public transportation, not even uber or lyft. It took weeks after recouperated to get a rental because not even the rental would come to get me.
I lost my job not getting to it then I lost my apartment not being able to pay the rent. I became homeless and moved around and around.
Living with people who saw me as a burden and treated me badly. When I tried to get money from my lawyers. They refused to help me. When I tried to get a loan my lawyers denied the loan.
To this day I have a huge lump on my neck a muscle strain according to the doctors and nerve damage on the right side of my face. I still have no car and live with a friend. My struggles continue and the small check I received I have acquired so much more debts in 8 months it's gone. Yet I had no choice but to accept the little bit my attorney claimed he settled for.

People be aware if your attorneys aren't honest up front they will never treat you right. I know my attorneys didn't fight for me. They made excuses, the woman who hit me was a government employee yet They claim she hid from them by moving away several times. I don't believe that. They did only help themselves but God is in the midst of all. I believe in him and know I will recover some day.

I started out with another law firm on another case and ended up firing them and giving my case to Mac Law and then ended up with another case!! These people are amazing and if I ever need another attorney for anything I’ll be using this one!! Love them!!
