As a family attorney he is completely incompetent. Took my money, let the judge walk all over my case. My childs mother ran away with my child out of state. It would have been an easy case to make to bring her back. He allowed us to go into court unprepared several times. He didn't care one bit about my case, my child, or even winning. All he cares about is your money. Which I paid him thousands more than he said it would cost. It took him 3 months just to have her served. His in court behavior was that of a stumbling bumbling fool. It was embarrassing. I now have to retain the services of a new attorney and start over. I was warned about family attorneys, and this guy was everything I was warned about. The minute final orders were signed, he refused to continue representing me. Ive paid this guy almost 6 thousand dollars, for almost nothing. Last time we went into court, Craig allowed us to go into court behind on Child support. Which in my mind I had good cause, (California was coming after me and I was having to fight the case there) he expressed that it was a good excuse and we will explain that to the judge. Huge mistake. There was no good excuse. He knew that. But since we were in the home stretch, all he cared about was finalizing the case, taking my money, and moving on. What a terrible thing to do to a father who already has been through so much. I had to handle so many issues by myself. He rarely calls back when asked, matter of fact there was weeks in between when I would hear from him. If you are a father fighting for custody, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. He doesn't care about you. Only your money. He wont return your phone calls, he will do the bare amount required of him, and he will charge you an arm and leg to do it. Never have I met someone who claims to be a professional, who lacks so much communication skills. He will mail you his answer, when all you need is a phone call. He is short with you over the phone. Makes you feel like you are wasting his time. Terrible attorney. Don't waste your time. To elaborate how bad my situation is...My child still lives out of state, I pay child support, medical expenses, her flight round trip for the short time I actually get to spend with her, and full time child care while she is here. I am not a felon. I don't even have a ticket on my record. Her mother? Criminal back ground. Child alienation. And this poor excuse couldn't even make a case. Pathetic
