I unfortunately sought this lawyer's (and I use that term loosely!) "legal advice." I personally found his analysis to be extremely sloppy.
I don't particularly like to use demeaning words like "moron" so I will not. But on the other hand, I did find Howard Hellen to be extremely sloppy in that he completely misinterpreted important facts. He also made conclusory statements that were just incorrect - to the point that I found them inexcusable.
Last, he complained about not getting paid for reviewing a potential case (not to mention that he mis-read the file to boot!)! Well, guess what Howie, lawyers usu. don't get paid to review a contingency case!!!
He also complained that he claimed to have spent "close to 1 1/2 hours" on the phone and he was not "getting paid" so asked for payment in a round about way. But I looked at the timer on my iphone and it said 40 min. not "close to 1 1/2 hours" so that made me really wonder about old Howie!! Personally, I will stay away from this "lawyer" and I suggest you think very carefully before you think about using him!!! I did not look him up on the State Bar website but I later heard that he went to some bottom tier law school.
