Through the most difficult time in my life, Carol was a strong, knowledgeable, compassionate and steady presence that helped me navigate the many challenges I faced. She was empathetic and caring but also tough, telling me plainly when I had to make difficult choices (and when she thought I was making a mistake). She always returned my emails and phone calls promptly and made me feel like I was a priority. Yes, divorce is very expensive, but I have spoken with people who spent a lot more money then I did and did not get the personal care and attention that I got from Carol. I'm really grateful that she and her team were there for me.

For over 25 years Carol Wilson has been the go-to attorney for me and many of my friends. I find her intelligent, thorough, competent, loyal, successful on behalf of clients and extremely pleasant to deal with.

Working with Carol has been a wonderful experience. She is a very compassionate and caring lawyer! Carol and her staff are very open and communicative every time I've been in contact with them. She is progressive and honest in all that she does. She is one to have "your back".

Carol is a lawyer who cares deeply about her clients. Her firm strives to live by the golden rule, treat others how you want to be treated, and that is exactly what they do. If you are in need of any family law, I would highly recommend choosing Carol Wilson for your representation.

I highly recommend Carol Wilson and her team. They were incredibly kind and professional while helping through a very difficult divorce. Carol’s knowledge of family law is unparalleled. She always had my best interest in mind while setting realistic expectations of outcomes. Carol truly cares for her clients and was able to help me when others failed.

Having spent quite a bit of time around lawyers over the years, Carol stands out as passionate about her fiduciary responsibility - and, aggressively executing on her clients behalf. A rare combination of intellect and determination and caring....

I have been Carol's opposing counsel on cases. She is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful at all times. Her trustworthiness and reputation serves her clients well as she is often able to obtain agreements to procedural matters that deviate from standard rules which helps save money and helps makes over all settlement possible.

Nightmare! Let me say a few things about Carol Wilson. I retained carol for my divorce in February 2019. I had fired my previous attorney for non-performance and carol came recommended by a friend. My wife had moved all of our money into a private account that I had no access to. I was a stay at home dad when we separated with no source of income. I was in a terrible situation and needed someone to come on board and take over my case immediately. With mediation right around the corner carol needed to catch up quickly. I explained to her that I had no money but could borrow the money needed to pay her retainer but nothing more. She assured me that the $15,000 retainer would be enough to cover me to prepare for mediation and ideally come to a agreement for settlement. So I payed the retainer with borrowed money and she quickly went to work. She was able to get together everything necessary for mediation. While in mediation she told me I owed her another $20,000. She knew I didn’t have any money so we agreed to have her paid from the settlement. Mediation didn’t go well and it was clear that a settlement was not realistic. Trial was the only option and it was going to cost an additional $15,000 minimum. At this point I had no other option but to continue to let her keep her clock running and accumulate more debt to her. It was not ideal but I had no other choice. As trial came closer she began to send me invoices for the $20,000 and demanding the additional $15,000 to move forward for trial. She knew that I had borrowed everything I could already to pay her the $20,000 retainer and she couldn’t get anymore money from me until after trial completed and the settlement money came through. She decided she didn’t want to wait so she just fired me as her client. A month before final trial and I found myself without any representation and a suit filed by her for the $20,000 owed. Her recommendation was to hire a cheaper attorney. I had no money and trial was in a month. I was going to be forced to represent myself. Four days before trial I was able to get a credit card, so I retained an attorney at the last minute and went in front of the judge extremely unprepared. The results couldn’t have been worse. I lost everything! On a $1million estate, I walked away with $75,000. Not even enough to pay back my debt for attorneys. What she did was not only extremely heartless and unethical it destroyed me. I was told all along by her that I would be entitled to almost half of our estate. I ended up with 5%. Because of carol I’m now bankrupt and my new business is being forced to close. My life is ruined, my credit destroyed, and carol could care less. Attorneys are heartless, money hungry and carol is no different. Beware!!! If you hire her, make sure you have a contract that clearly explains what she will provide and how much it will cost.then throw it away. She will over Bill you until your broke and then throw you away and move on to the next client.
