I have not been so fortunate on the roads but I'm sure glad I had Soyia Byrds team on my side when it came to covering all the costs and worries of the accidents I've been in. Mike came straight to my home when I had my first wreck at 35 weeks pregnant and made sure the baby and I were ok, and Rani is the most compassionate, sweet, and attentive lady youk ever work with. Great team working for attorney Byrd. Everyone was polite and professional every step of the way. I was notified of every thing that was taken place and nothing was done without my consent. I highly recommend this law office.

BEWARE!! There is a representative of this firm, Mike, who is bad news for this firm, unprofessional, dishonest, arrogant. This firm STOLE a portion of my settlement they were NOT entitled to. If this firm wanted to do right by me they had every chance to. I met with Mike at the office on a Saturday, I got bad vibes based on the arrogance and street hustle talk and mentality but against everything within me I continued to speak with him based on the fact a true friend referred me to this firm. After meeting with him Saturday I contacted him Monday to inform him I would handle everything myself and no longer wanted their representation. He immediately STOPPED communicating with me and never acknowledged my communications moving forward.

I was told this man has actually said he didn't care what people do, once they sign those papers because the firm was going to get their money. Needless to say once hearing this I was disappointed that I was even recommended to work with him or the firm he represents.
Mike knows that his firm, Sonyia Byrd law firm, did zero for me, I actually paid every single expense out of my pocket but they claimed there were due money because I signed the paper. Instead of doing right by a member of the community, this place is ripping off the very community it claims to serve. This man, Mike represents this firm to the community and I have now heard of 2 other people with similar experiences. This is sad because I want very much for these businesses to thrive but not at the expense of others.

Lesson learned, trust your gut even if a true friend recommends otherwise. Use a law firm other than this one should you find you need one. May God bless those taken advantage of by this establishment and may this establishment improve its service to our community.

I was very pleased with the results of Sonyia Byrd and Associates. They acted rapidly in ensuring that my children and I were seen my physicians so that our medical needs were met without delay after our car accident. I was astonished by the amount of the settlement. Overall, I was well pleased. A huge THANK YOU to such a wonderful team of professionals.

The insurance adjuster Michael is unprofessional and doesn't know how to talk to you let's just he spoke rudely and unprofessional to my mother and when she left the office she was upset to the point she wanted to cry, she said to me that the insurance adjuster Michael made her feel that he's doing her a favor her words to me was "that man don't know how to talk to people I just shut my mouth because I didn't want to say anything" she then said to me never mind and my mother had a look on her face that really hurt me to know that this man would speak to his elder unprofessional and with sarcasm. This incident has made me really sad.
