This attorney hung up on me because I told her I believed the reason for spousal support was to help equalize the lifestyles between ex husband and wife during the period of time spousal support was awarded. Circumstances such as education, health, job availability, assets, etc. were considered by a judge in determining spousal support. I would not recommend this attorney simply because she hung up on me without provocation when I simply told her what I believed the law to be! Family Code Section 4320 should not be something an attorney should be angry about, but something she should be willing to discuss with a potential client.
