I have to give her 5 stars even though my case is in a different state she tried to do her best to assist me. She has great customer service and she knows how to defend you in your legal matters.

Two days before the hearing, Rebecca was relentless in trying to convince me to settle. My case has gone on for an entire year and never once did she mention that I should settle out of court. I told her by email and phone that I did not want to settle and wanted the opportunity to present my evidence in court. She then sent me an email saying that she called the other party's attorney and settled the case. Which I responded “I am shocked. Are you legally allowed to do that?.. “.. I clearly told you I didn't agree with his offer and you went and agreed?”. Obviously I refused to sign the unilateral decision she made and went to court. At the hearing I quickly learned why Rebecca Cornia was all the sudden so insistent that I settled. She stated to the judge that she did not go over the evidence sent to her by the other party, and asked for continuance. The judge did not allow for a continuance. There I was, stuck with an attorney who in my opinion was completely unprepared for the hearing. To make matters worse, when I asked her if the other party would at least be paying the attorney's fees she responded “I never received authorization from you to file a new RFO for attorneys fees, so I did not do so.” I responded with a copy of the form signed several months prior. She replied “Well, clearly my memory is shot. I don't have any recollection of doing so”. It turned out she forgot to file it. This is just a small sample of how she handled my case.
