Grossly took advantage of me. Had a small matter worth less than 1,000 dollars, that was simple and quick. Asked up front if litigation would be less than or equal to that amount. Enrico beat around the bush, and told me it would likely be more, but not that much more. Well.. over 3,000$ later.. and several headaches.. and my case was finally closed. They kept charging my card too, and it was like pulling teeth to get my retainer back.

After my initial meeting, Enrico handed me off to another attorney who was fine.. but the misrepresentation of what litigation would cost, really left a sour taste in my mouth, and made the whole experience feel shady and dirty. I wish he'd of just told me up front.. took my 200$ consultation fee.. and we'd of parted ways. Now I know why people call them "Bloodsucking" lawyers.

I went in for an interview they wanted me to put $1,800 retainer all I wanted was an easy divorce which it was very easy divorce all my wife wanted was a Jeep Grand Cherokee was about $2,500 when I learn how much is divorce cost me I would never hired you all over $9,000 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee and her divorce I will be going to the bar I have already I will be filling out my complaint about how you take advantage of my bank account you got into my account like it was yours I would not have hired you off I knew I was going to spend $9,000 I thought it was spending only $1,800 for a simple divorce a very simple divorce I've been divorced before and I file my own papers cost me just a little over $400 you got a court date within a month with you all took 6 months and money coming out of my bank account each month I don't understand why an easy divorce cost $9,000 especially when your wife is always filed for a court date I was just wanting to make sure that everything went through correctly because my wife is very flighty I mean my ex-wife now I did get I did get divorced the boy was very nice but I felt that she should not have done the things that she done in the hours and which took it should have only took in maybe 18 hours at the most again I will be filing a complaint with the Florida bar I would not have hired you for $9,000 for Jeep Grand Cherokee worth $2,500

They told me that it would cost me $ 2,500 maximum, I pay $ 20,000. I spoke many times with customer service the answer was very simple we apologize for making a mistake in your budget, I recommend everyone to read the other comments because in many cases they make the same mistake. My personal opinion that they make the mistake knowing that after you have paid 5 thousand or 7 thousand you have no choice, to continue with them because you are in the middle of the divorce and if you would not, lose what you paid and you would have to get another lawyer and pray so that it does not happen again. I would like to know how much it costs a divorce with properties and children and 20 years of marriage with this company. I really feel scammed by all and case one of that company

Cordell & Cordell, specifically Lauren Adkins and her staff, was a life saver. My Divorce and child custody case was a little different, my wife was South African, and she wanted to take my daughter to South Africa.
