Recently, it came to my attention that I was going to need some legal help regarding a life insurance policy. I messaged several different law offices requesting assistance. I sent an email to Michael Hoover with Interpleader Law asking a few questions and by the time I went to the kitchen and poured a glass of sweet tea and walked back to my room I already had an extremely helpful response email to my questions. I followed up with a few more questions and my follow up email was responded to just as fast. I didn't just receive some generic responses, I quickly obtained useful information and it was very obvious that Michael Hoover had taken time out of his day to thoughtfully answer my questions with detailed informative responses. Michael Hoover and his team were a Godsend to me. I lost my Mom in February 2015. I was the primary beneficiary on her life insurance policy. My siblings decided that it wasn't fair that the money should be given to me and then I divide it between the three of us. This was not my mother's wishes. I was to pay for her final expenses and my expenses as executor, then split the funds. My siblings decided it was more beneficial to contest her decision. The insurance company's lawyers decided it would be better for them if they sent it to the court. Michael Hoover and his team were a blessing to me! My husband died twenty two months ago. His one life insurance policy was set with his ex-wife as beneficiary, per their divorce decree from 2000 in the state of Virginia.
As soon as my husband died, I started receiving calls from that insurance company practically badgering me for information and for me to sign off on documents which said I was not allowed any payment from this.
I thought the policy was all cut and dried. I took everything from this insurance company to my attorney including notes on the phone calls. He said this was beyond his scope and referred me to attorneys in a nearby larger town. They too, said they could not handle it. When I arrived back home that day, I had a contempt of court paper in my mailbox from the state of Arizona, where the ex lived.
I decided to go online to research this for myself and Praise God, I found Michael Hoover and his firm. I emailed him with a brief note explaining the situation.
