Fortunately, in my 35 years, this was the first time I needed the help of an attorney. I was absolutely clueless about everything involved with a divorce. I was worried about how to proceed. In steps John Anderson, only needing information regarding the divorce and he handled all the rest. Dealing with the legal system can be quite intimidating, but due to his previous life experiences, I don’t see him backing down from anything. My divorce was in Harris County, Texas and I would recommend him to anyone as clueless as I am about the legal system.

I don’t know where to even start! This lawyer is very crooked. My boyfriend had hired him, and it was just a waste. He didn’t receive monthly statements, they never return calls or knew anything about his case. They drew up paperwork but it was never filed, we both wrote up complaints and they had us sign them but were never attached to the document when he filed it with the court and they weren’t even in his file he received once he got rid of him and hired another lawyer. He claimed he used more then his 3000 NONREFUNDABLE retainer when he absolutely did NOTHING! Definitely would not recommend him! It was a child custody case and the man didn’t fight for my boyfriend at all! Read your contract and make sure the case is simple if you do! He is just out to get your money! Good Luck!

Mr Anderson was great with my youngest son's case . He was up front and honest. He is not a plea attorney.He takes the time to look at the evidence and advises from there . I heard him tell the lady in the court room " I don't make the law I defend it " I knew then he was going to be good. My youngest son's case was dismissed thanks to JW Anderson. I have already referred him to others that found themselves looking for a good attorney.Good attorneys in Washington County are very rare. I had a previous experience with 2 other attorneys in Brenham and they did not listen and basically one just steals money and the other that just doesn't care about his clients...
