He borrowed money from me on December 1, 2014. He alleges the money was the last he needed to close the purchase of a property. I was to be repaid one week later, December 8th. For more than two months, he has been claiming he would bring the money the next day, and has not. He has evaded my questions about the status of the transaction. I think he has defrauded me and have filed civil suit. Upon discovery, I will see if criminal charges are possible, as well as see if his license to practice law should be investigated.
