Where do i start, i was detained and ordered removal from the States because i was out of status on my F-1 visa as a student for skipping a semester. Long story short Tony Parada got me out of detention, was able to have my case transferred from a different city ( El Paso ) Tx to Houston where in turn we presented our case and was able to have the Judge grant me my Permanent Residence Status . Friend of mine in Virginia was prisoned by ICE after minor traffic volition, he was transferred to Houston ICE facilities in preparation for deportation. He had RZepeda Law

What I want to say here is, that I found that Tony and his team to very professional, responsive, easy going, and most honest. During the case, tony would update me often, and he would explain the case in most simple way, he would tell me step by step of his plan, he would stay on the phone with me as long as needed. If I had question of needed to speak to him, I simple send him email and ask him to call me, he would call me in minutes ofr hours if he was busy. His rate was very good, but when I explained the situation of my friend, he gave further discount to do the work. I was recommended to see Mr. Parada to begin my legalization process and the experience was so worth it. My wife's residency was approved after Tony filed a motion to reopen for adjustment of status, then a hearing and then a favorable judgement to approve her residency. This after having a 23 year order of deportation in absentia. The ruling was a result of having representation by the Law Office of Tony Parada and being represent by Tony in court.

We are married for years and have raised 4 kids together. Years prior to meeting Tony, we applied for adjustment of status after getting married. We paid the fine, received approval and even went to the residency interview. At the interview we where we told that my wife had been deported and she would not be eligible to adjust her status because of the deportation. She had entered without inspection and had been stopped by border patrol.

We got advice to apply for TPS. That was denied because the USCIS stated that a second entry occurred when knew for a fact that no exit occurred. We then hired an attorney (not Tony) that advised us to get affidavits to prove she had never left. USCIS accepted the affidavits and affirmed they had no record of an exit. This however responded to late for the appeal and TPS was denied again.

Our first attorney was helpful in getting the FIOA and other informaiton that took almost 3 years. In the end the office was late with appeals and did not want to take the risky path to make a motion to reopen. The office staff was slow to respond to questions and did not keep in contact with us to update us on information.

During this process my wife was under an order of supervision from ICE. ICE later turns this over to another department and started my wife's deporation process. It got to the point where my wife had to call in on a specific day, be at a phone at a specific time to answer a phone call and then visit an office once a week to check in. Then to be told she would have to buy a ticket to leave the US. By the Grace of God and a good letter from that attorney we dodge the bullet and she did not have to leave just yet, but we still did not have a solution for her deportation. She was still under an order of supervision due to the deportation.

We were introduced to Tony by family. Tony reviewed the years of information we had and told us our options. Do nothing and wait to see if the law changes, get deported while waiting or make a motion to reopen. He stated the risk plainly saying that this would be the final chance to try and if we failed, the deportation would stand with no more appeals. It was a scary decision. We decided to go forward.

Tony wrote to USCIS asking them to join the motion which was sucessful and not common to have them join the case. He then requested a change of venue from El Paso to Houston that was granted. Now in Houston, we were affected by Harvey on our 2nd court appearence. Priot to this appearance, we were called into the law office to meet with Tony personally to discuss what might happen in court, what questions might be asked and how best to answer the questions. He also asked if we had any questions and we had questions that he took the time answer. We met again with Tony prior the reset court date and again went over what to expect in court. This is attention to detail.

Tony kept us informed. The law office staff was attentive and responsive to our calls. We never waited more than a day for a return call with information. This is not a fast process. This is a stressful process. We could tell that Tony had a healthy concern about our case and that it was not a sure thing. We knew that. He knew that. We all wanted a win. You don't win by sitting back and hoping. You do your homework and your ready for game day. Do your best. Tony, your the best.

Like many people i was born in Mexico but i grew up in the United States. As i was growing up i made a couple of bad choices and got in trouble with the law.
