I gave one star because Google made me.

I got stuck using this law firm in the TVM mesh debacle. Jez was who I was handed off to after my initial lawyer left or got fired from the firm.

I was told they were taking (robbing) 40% because mesh cases would have to be deposed, go to court, and it would be a lot of work. NONE of that stuff ever happened. Instead, I was lumped in with 20K of women. 60% of them never had surgeries or damage like I did. I got a packet, the firm filed papers, and everything they did was for all 20K of us.

They sent out a few form letters, had a few phone calls BECAUSE I CALLED (not because they did), and sat back and wracked up expenses in which they charged me for every piece of paper and stamp etc. It was in the thousands! It's amazing clients don't get more say in how they waste money.

I had to undergo 5 mesh related surgeries and suffer the pain and problems and they lined their pockets.

I was also part of the HB fund for late date surgeries. I got a letter back in February telling me what I would receive. 11 months LATER, after I emailed persistently, I finally got a check and 51% was taken out with huge expenses to everyone. The greed is disgusting. Yet I am the one with the cut up body and a lifetime of catheters.

All I was waiting for was lien resolution, which takes 3 months on average. When 6 months had gone by FNJ had not even sent an update. I had to constantly email and ask for help to get answers. They did NOTHING until I begged for information.

The funds for the Hold Back settlement were put aside with the first round of settlements. Very little extra work had to be done. Jez did NOTHING but pass it off and let people rob me close to 3K just to review records from my surgeries. My medical records that were submitted for my last 2 surgeries were less than 8 pages. (I have to wonder how Jez or anyone involved in mesh cases can sleep at night.)
Why not fight for injured clients when they're being pillaged with outrageous fees for reading reports?? Everything about the TVM litigation was corrupt.

I would tell anyone looking at hiring them to RUN as FAST AS YOU CAN to another firm. They are rude, arrogant, and terrible at taking care of anyone but themselves and their wallets. **And before they reply and defend here...just know I had the surgeries, I had the medical issues, I underwent an 8.5 hour surgery to remove the last piece of mesh, I still have to use catheters, and they walked away with no pain and suffering and earned about what I did. They'll argue that because I can't show you the actual papers. But do not believe them.

Based on my real life experience I see them as ambulance chasing lawyers that do not care about the people they serve. (Just my opinion.) I advise people to find another lawyer. Jez will do nothing for you but take care of his needs.

BTW, many of their reviews need to be questioned. Some of their own office people are part of their 5 star ratings. That speaks volumes. I'd call it unethical to review the company you work for, especially in the legal field where people need help for injuries.

Does anyone wonder with the multi million dollars put aside for the HB fund that sat in a bank for a few years...where is the accounting to the claimants about the interest that was earned?? I sure do. And I'm getting a journalist to look into it. Jez gave me no information.

FNJ are not worth hiring. Go give your money to a honest, little law firm that will actually care about you.

Not sure at all about this firm, hired them to do my Essure case back in 2017 and now its going to trial and havent heard a word from them since the paperwork was filed. cant access the website to find anything out. ill bet they took my settlement and ran...
